I definitely agree that Five Guys is S tier based on taste and quality; it's the best fast food burger out there. The one qualification I would add is that you pay a premium for that quality. It's definitely on the expensive end of fast food
I'm a beginner in Spanish and understand pretty much half of what is said in the video and I've learnt a few new words. Being a native French speaker might help a little but the way you speak makes it easy to understand!
Hahah great video thanks for sharing it was quite fun to watch! Chipotle is honestly one of my favorite restaurants ( by far favorite fast food, but I'm not really a fast food fan ), but it is also probably the most inconsistent restaurant of all time. The ingredients are all locally sourced, so that makes every location taste different, and the skill / amount care of the cooks at the location make a huge difference. I've been to many locations in many states, most are great but I've found at least 3 locations where the cooks didn't put in any effort and the food was nasty. ( One location was always insanely salty / one served still frozen veggies / and a couple locations burnt the chicken ) Also, if you come back to the US please find a Skyline Chili the flavor is amazing!!! And Penn Station subs are also amazing! Somewhat greasy but very flavorful!!
I live in the US and you’ve probably tried more than me, don’t feel bad 😆 I totally agree on chipotle - never understood all the hype! And Taco Bell does hit the spot with the Doritos locos 😆 even though I love authentic Mexican
Would love to see a follow-up for the "No" section during your next US trip. I would recommend: 1. A&W: I love root bear and their diner style food 2. Bojangles: One of the best fried chicken joints out there 3. Zaxby: (see #2) plus a lot of good Southern style eats 4. Boston Market: Think "Thanksgiving 365 days a year" 5. Jimmy John's & Jersey Mike's: Great subs 6. Panera Bread: Closest to home cook meal for Fast Food
Love the video. I’ve lived all over the US and have tried all but five of these places. Here are my thoughts: Putting Chipotle in D tier is crazy; you should revisit it. Five Guys is great, but it's not really fast food like In-N-Out, and it's also pricey. In-N-Out is not only good but it's simple, fresh, open late, and cheap-which is why people like it. I've noticed West Coasters love it, while East Coasters tend to be mostly indifferent (correct me if i'm wrong East Coasters). Boston Market is on its way out. Subway was king about 10 - 15 years ago when their $5 foot-long came out, but it fell off hard. Nowadays, I think Jersey Mike's is preferred for quality and taste-you should give it a try. Many of the places you haven't tried are regional, like Sheetz (mostly in PA and Ohio), Swensons (Ohio only), Wawa (East Coast), Bojangles (Southern), and El Pollo Loco (West Coast). Lastly, don't go to Waffle House after dark lol.
@@Jaredaprendeespanol-sm9cq You're right, my bad on that! I should've clarified that In-N-Out is definitely more of a West Coast thing, which is part of why it's so loved here. I meant to say that when East Coasters finally get the chance to try it, it often doesn’t live up to the hype for them-at least in my experience. It was usually the first stop after I picked up family and friends flying in from the East Coast to visit. Thanks for pointing that out!
@@coolcdw1 Gotcha. Yeah, that makes sense. I think the hype probably sets people's expectations too high so that when they finally try it it feels like a disappointment.

Bags of Arby's Curly fries for sale in the grocery store freezer aisle. I put some in my air fryer! Delicioso! I think they have a more consistent taste than from the fast food restaurant. I like them better!
😂 hit the nail on the head with the in and out critique. It’s good… a good company… and the ingredients are great. But it’s overhyped and they have some of the worst fries in the fast food industry.

@@jthymesthree602fast food isn’t about logic or quality. Is chipotle better than Taco Bell. Yes but do I eat it more no. Shake shack and in n out might be a little better but shake shack is over priced. Which yes they both are but five guys dumps fries in you bag and don’t have skimpy burgers so its a better value. In n out always takes 30 minutes because the drive is wrapped around the building no matter what time of day. So it doesn’t surprise me she ranked five guys better.

Half of these I've never even heard of (some I have, but never ate there). My dad loves Arbys for the curly fries. KFC used to be the best for me until 15-ish years ago when they changed something with their recipe and sizes. Side dishes became half the size and over-cooked, chicken strips had more breading than chicken (now you can barely find a KFC around my area). Burger King, personally I'd put at B tier, and McDonalds at B tier (their fries are skinny compared to Burger King, and are more expensive, but their fish is better than Burger King's). I tried Boston Market's frozen pot pie once, and for some reason it made me sick, so D tier. There's also Dominick's (not to be confused with Dominoes, which is basically their rival here). Hardee's is another one that was a favorite (used to be more common, like Roy Rogers was here back in the 1980s). Can't forget Nichi Bei Kai, although I think this is a local Maryland Japanese Restaurant/grill (sushi). Haven't been there for years, but a definite S-tier. I went here with my Japanese class 24 years ago and we ordered food in Japanese, as well as tried different dishes (comparing in Japanese, too). Best traditional language class I've ever had, total immersion!
McDonalds is not the first in fast food, it was White Castle. Although as you say, McDonalds made it popular. Also, Taco Bell is my guilty pleasure, top of the list. Having said that, Boston Market is excellent. If you like roast chicken, mashed potatoes, really home style American/UK food you have to give it a try. As long as you don't mind a lot of salt, it's worth trying.
I wish the background music was a bit quieter. It was pretty distracting. Otherwise, great video.
I'm five minutes in and had to stop to say WHAT? Carl's Jr lower than BK? Chipotle in D??? Arby's is a B because of curly fries????? Thanks for the video though, I'm not hating 😅😅
In N Out in B tier and Five Guys in S. Just no. Five Guys is overpriced. In N Out is always fresh and is actually reasonably priced. Also, how can someone rate McDonald's over In N Out? That is insane to me. McDonald's is garbage.
Whataburger as a C is one of the most insulting things I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt because you may not have known better. And Chick-fil-A below McDonalds!? Augustina, what the hell happened on this trip of yours for McDonald’s to have that much of an impact on you? 😂
It’s worse in Argentina 😅. To be honest it’s pretty hit / miss throughout Latin America for some reason. I’m not a huge fan in the first place but our six y/o eats it maybe once every other month and I usually end up eating a bit of his meal. However, Mexico’s Spicy Pollo McCrispy is a pretty solid sandwich.

In general, I found American fast food is INFINITELY better anywhere outside the US. The quality in the US is horrible.
My favorite fast food is Pollo Loco, but it's probably not your style. Best chicken in the world.
Used to live in Pasadena. El Pollo Loco is the shit ❤.
also miss Baja Fresh
That intro music goes too hard…Pablo got taste
taco bell and mcdonalds rot my insides
Taco Bell is considered a food assembly point!
I'm five minutes in and had to stop to say WHAT? Carl's Jr lower than BK? Chipotle in D??? Arby's is a B because of curly fries????? Thanks for the video though, I'm not hating 😅😅
Canes sobre Chick-fil-A es un loco
Chipotle C+
Moe’s is better
I think every american can agree on the Taco Bell choice 😂
I've never been so early lol
You're correct. Chipotle is complete garbage lol.
I completely agree with your list!
🤣 I have no idea how McDonald’s received that rank nor do I understand how Taco Bell is ranked above Del Taco. Oh well just my opinion 🤷🏾♂️
No friggin way MacDonalds made the S tier...
mcdonalds is awful
Honestamente es así
I love it, you just have to get the right things like a quarter pounder because with that they use fresh meat
You aren’t a real American (or maybe just aren’t American)
Laughs in double quatre pounder and double mcrispy
I guess no one is perfect 🤭
Five guys numero uno? I rub my eyes
