If u have I industry experience before mtech or no gap between btech and mtech then u get good placement after mtech in svnit otherwise u have to find collage for lectures job.

@@realitycheck....9704 since you're from electrical, I think you're good in digital electronics and analog electronics (GATE syllabus). So if you have very less time only cover DIC sequential, combinational and inverter portion, STA, verilog (takes 2 weeks ideally for basics) and revise C concepts. This should take you ideally 1 month if you contribute daily 2 hours.

All three are good options from different angle like placement, dynamic, future demand,top IIT...so decide based on ur expectations like academic stress, college location, project guide strictness e.t.c
if SPCOM then IIT Madras may be given priority

Yes , missing these syllabus in academic curriculum which is very much important for vlsi students

It may be but all the areas which you mentioned all non vlsi student prepare on his/her own so it's not a big issue if that's not included in syllabus and you can also take it as positive that u will learn extra topic in class and above mentioned topic on ur own and for the above mentioned topic a lot of valuable summarised resources are already available on the internet
