  • Join me as we visit a long forgotten property with a variety of Japanese, Russian and North American cars and trucks. Nature has grown around these vehicles locking them in a state of slow decay.

I remember seeing a Lada Signet near Lake Simcoe in 1996(I’m from Scotland) I was surprised to learn back then that you got them officially.
    Subscribed.
    Where in Canada are you?

Thanks for subscribing and comment. I am in Eastern Canada, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Yes we had Lada dealers in the early and mid 1980s. Disappeared and resumed in the mid 90s with Samaras and Nivas. I am thinking around 1996 all the active dealerships dried up and closed.

If you find a 70 -72. Monte Carlo or around a 69 Dodge Dart I would like to know where and how much.

You are correct. It’s the perfect mix here to dissolve metal.

That’s about it. All are rotten up to the door handles. But good bits and pieces for some hard to find items if someone is restoring something with limited reproduction part options. It would be a labour of love to get any of these out of the woods. At minimum an excavator to build a haul road. And nothing there is worth that expense.

@@adriencervera4011 thanks for comment. I am in Canada. In the 1980s there were Lada dealerships in most cities. By the 1990s there wasn’t many dealerships left. Nothing now.

    Those cars are screwed

Oh definitely. But still good bits and pieces on them if someone was restoring a good one and can’t source reproductions.
