- Starting a new series because, well, I'm stuck with an unfortunate mic at the moment but still want to make content. I reposition it from part 2 onwards so there should be less sudden booms and things.
This is Gold Rush, one of the standard maps added to Horn of the Abyss v1.6.0 in 2020 to show off the newly added wasteland terrain. Our featured hero is Rissa, the +1 Mercury specialist. She's not normally a starting hero choice but her specialty is useful here.

i forget what the hota orthogonal map is called but u start of w 2 troops 1 stacks and u fight w them. its very hard

Dev (and map creator) on df2 forum just mentioned seeing your playthrough. They got sad because apparently this is not final version of the map that accidentally made it into the update instead of correct map version and most of problems this map has arise from it being not final.

I was absolutely _positive_ that this was a remake of an old _Heroes_ map, so I checked it out. Nope. I got this confused with "Fool's Gold" from _Heroes II._
Either way, this should be a lot of fun!

Just FYI Noro:
"Though Stone and Obsidian Gargoyles are considered as non-living, they are still affected by morale and mind spells."
Also, "Golems, undead and elementals are unaffected by morale, meaning that their morale rating is always zero."
Was curious about this as well but this is straight from the lazy net Heroes 3 wiki which is pretty comprehensive.
