  • In this second day of our trip we hit a badge of Honor trail in Windrock park trail 16. This trail is definitely worth being a badge trail and definitely earn s its rating of difficult. Join us as we test our rigs and have a blast doing it.

Nice video. I love watching jeep vids but I’m a sxs driver myself. I wonder why this is a badge of honor trail for Jeeps? In my krx on 35s and my brother’s t4 on 30s it was easy, even going the other way and climbing the ledge to the left just before the big hill at the end. Cruising like an old man in his caddy on Sunday afternoon, taking an hour lunch break at the waterfall, it still only took us about 3 hours and it was muddy as crap.

Thanks for watching. The SXS are not a fair comparison with 35’s as break over and departure angles and wheelbase make it way more capable a Jeep with 35’s. That being said I have also seen SXS struggle on things jeeps just walk up. It’s all about the setup

@@GrayLineOverland oh for sure I’m not knocking Jeeps at all. I was just asking why is 16 a badge of honor. More so to understand what makes it a badge of honor trail. There’s stuff at windrock I can’t do because of wheelbase, power, width all that lol. Please believe I’m not sliding insults at all

@@GrayLineOverland oh and my approach angles are more than 90 degrees lol. Front and rear tires stick out a good 2” further than body or bumpers 🤣🤣🤣

Oh no I didn’t think that at all but badge trails are not usually the hardest trails but some of the better ones in my opinion. There are some that aren’t great too but most are really good trails to run. There are a lot of trails at windrock that are badge worthy for sure, that place rocks.

@@GrayLineOverland ok I got it I think. Not the “oh shit I can’t believe we did that” trails. Just a good fun trail. I look forward to watching the rest of your vids👍🏻👍🏻 stay safe

Coming from a local I totally disagree with going from north to south being harder. Rarely ever will you see it as dry as it is in the video. Come back in the late fall and you’ll see what I’m saying. Did you guys skip the stair step rock towards the top of the trail? Nice video by the way

No we did it all the way out front to back. It was pretty wet and had just finished a pretty heavy rain the week before we got there. I would like to do it the other way myself to see but the only thing that looked tough the other way was the last part which would be first in video

What type of limited slip was that?
