Tierinii Jackson has a dynamite voice! I'm so glad I caught them on my car radio while they were playing in-studio on one of my favorite stations! I just know this band is going to go big! They are playing tonight at the Highway 99 Blues Club in Seattle and will be at the Winthrop Blues Festival this weekend! Gonna get a whole bunch of new fans!
I've just seen these guys in Orlando at the House of Blues, opening up for JJ Grey & Mofro. They were great! What a talent and an awesome find of a new band!! To me, they sound like if Jill Scott, Alicia Keys and Buddy Guy had a 3 some and Southern Avenue is their love child! ;)

I saw this great band last month for $5 in Plattsburgh, NY. A week later I saw Tedeschi/Trucks for $55. I enjoyed SA far more than TT. (No offense Derek!)

Southern Avenue are great, no doubt, but c'mon, man - better than TTB?
TTB are THE best touring outfit out there today, IMO.

this is the third bass player I've seen with them. What's the deal? They jam though-nice to hear real music again.
