Glad you are back at the vise. its really great that you've recognized the health care providers. When you go through health issues you really get a different appreciation for them. Stay well
@@prettyflies I just did after watching your amazing skills 👍 Im not as good as you but I’m trying. I don’t know if you have more videos of flies for October and November:) I hope you keep blessing us with more videos 🫡🙏
Extremely glad to see that you are on the mend! Excellent and well produced video! My only comment is that your voice is really quiet, especially compared to the music! All the best.
Great, Stu. Got the link through the Club, too. That's a super caddis. Time to celebrate, so ....... a new posh tying vise? Law, or Petitjean. Such a difficult decision..
Thank you and glad you liked it! My 2p: consider the Renzetti Master, a true rotary vise with jaws that go #24 to 6/0 - if you look at the video about my setup you can see it!.
I’ve gone with the Law. Tried a Master and liked it, but it didn’t sing to me. I’m happy, although I’ll probably scratch the Petitjean itch at some time. J.
Thank you for the kind comments, Robert. I do really appreciate getting feedback on how my flies perform so delighted to hear that it works well for you on the River Bow!
I've been meaning to watch this for a bit now. I really limit how many fly tyers I follow, I mean I can't tie everything not will I. However you and I have something in common so I will support you. I'm glad you are well enough to get back to tying, I go from good to bad frequently but I think I am getting better. My issue has no cure unless it goes away on its own. This is a nice Caddis pattern. For some reason I seem to focus more on Caddis than Mayflies. Not sure why. I get along with a very few different dry flies for Mayflies and a more diverse selection of Caddis. Still it seems to work. Thanks for sharing this pattern, I appreciate that!
Hi Kerry and thanks for taking the time to write and, of course, to subscribe. I don’t do many flies, but I do try and make the ones I do more interesting and with reasonable quality so I hope you enjoy! And as for Caddis - they probably form the majority of trout food so a good thing to focus on! I am also on the road to recovery and have good and bad times - all I can do is never give up and start each day with optimism, I hope your path does take you somewhere better and that you enjoy it on the way! Do keep in touch, best wishes, Stuart
Благодарю вас! Это хорошо и для хариуса, и для форели. Я надеюсь, что это работает хорошо для вас! Thank you, this fly works for both grayling and trout and I hope it works well for you! Best wishes, Prettyflies
Hi Kenneth, just to be clear, you are saying the volume of my commentary is too low? If so, I’ll recut the soundtrack with my voice volume higher…..or are you saying the commentary is muffled or unclear and I need to re-record it with a better microphone - thanks for your feedback, I always try and respond positively once I know the precise issue - many thanks!
The best Caddy i have found on YT-Channel. Thanks!
Get well soon!
Glad you like it! Best wishes, Stuart
