LOL! The Entertainer on this keyboard sucks! Listen to the one on the much older models, it's a million times better and they made this one way too easy.
Just bought one and waiting for it to come in and wanted to make sure I won't regret it. Seems everyone thinks it's a good buy for beginners. So I'm excited to start
I am very pleased with my Casio ct x 700 keyboard, I received it 2 days ago and gone through all of the voices and rhythms and songs. I purchased it from eBay brand new for £199 and it is well worth every penny. I have been using the Yamaha e463 which is a really good keyboard just wanted to try out a different keyboard.
Somewhere, the CT-X program manager is being fired for making most of the CTK line obsolete. Casio didn't even phase out most of the CTK's first. The LKs are still marketable since the CT-X keys don't light up.
And the Yamaha PSR team is realizing they're getting left in the dust. Even after Winter NAMM 2019 they still haven't caught up to the CTX line with that new PSR-E360. It's the last generation sound with touch sensitivity in a new casing and that's it. I was disappointed.
@@cjaquilino Honestly I think they really need to consider making either a new line or finally updating the PSR series with better entry-level keyboards, a lot of people still consider the PSR-E363 or E463 even with the CT-X series around but a load of those people who usually go to Yamaha for quality entry-level options are now moving to the CT-X series, I don't think they'll want to depend on the impressions of people of Yamaha's PSR series being superior to Casio's entry-level keyboards at the same price, because now that is far from the case.
Just got one of these. I want to connect it to my PC and use my PC monitors as output speakers. I don't care about recording. I was hoping to designate the CT-X700 as an input device and that the PC would just output the keyboard input to my speakers. I should mention that I have multiple PCs connected to a mixer that is then connected to my speakers and I don't want to add more wires/jacks, etc. I can't find a way to do this in the documentation or via DuckDuckGo or TH-cam. Any suggestions?
This may not be on par with the similarly-designed Roland GO:KEYS and Roland E-09. But it is WAY MORE SUPERIOR than the Yamaha PSR-E models. PSR - E models had been unimpressive in the recent years... It keeps re-using the same sound banks over and over again for new models, with only a little amount of additional sounds and accompaniment rhythms (styles) The CT-X700 in the other hand, had improved significantly over the previously popular CTK4400 and CTK4200 models. Not only it retains CTK's vast amount of features within low prices, the sound engine is heavily overhauled with a newly designed AiX processor What Casio say about the CT-X700 is true, that it _sounds like a keyboard costing several hundreds of dollars more_
I just purchased the CT-X700. I would like to purchase some external speakers to boost up the sound. Can you please suggest what speakers would work with this keyboard. Price range: $50 or thereabouts. Thank you.
I believe you can't change the pitch of the indian rhythms and tones, but there are multiple that are set at different pitches and keys so you can have the options.
Can I get a ballpark Wrigley Field Organ sound for my son's little league games. Also I need Big Theater Phantom of the Opera sound so I can sit on the front porch for Halloween. Thanks. Jeff

does this keyboard give a lot of "noise". I hear a lot of noise when he is playing... but Im not sure if they just set a compressor to high post production or something?
Can this keyboard do Scale tuning and save the presets? So if I want to play in something other than 12 Tone Equal Temperament, can I tune each note in the octave individually and save my tuning?
