They finished 5th and were invited to tour with a few of the top contestants around the UK after they finished their XFactor UK journey. They were voted as the best entertainers of the tour. Yes this was a digital benefit concert in which they sang several songs and shared the event with SB-19 The girl you thought was the oldest is actually the youngest She was born in Dec. 95 The oldest was born in 10/87 (The girl who did the whistle note). They are all single but very close. They are all self taught from the oldest sister who did receive some music instruction. Loved your reaction and analysis. The songs they learn are from watching You Tube videos and using one of their sisters to arrange the songs for their voices. They are loved by their fans who are known as the "Dreamers". They are self funded Independent artists who sing covers and original songs they have produced.
Let me give you a little background to 4th Impact. The girls started singing together as a group back in 2001, singing at all sorts of events, just to help put food on the table. They entered contests and sang at festivals in and around Roxas, in Isabela province, listed as "The Cercado Sisters", in 2006 they were approached by a producer of the talent show FamJam who asked them if they would like to represent the Philippines in the World Championship of Performing Arts, they competed and won 16 Gold Medals, 4 Outstanding Plaques and were named Junior Vocal Group Grand Champion. In 2008 the group created an album, "The Cecados", I believe it was called, but the album did not have much success. In 2009 the group changed their name to "The Gollayan Sisters", in 2012 they competed on the talent show "It's Showtime", where they won, in 2013 they became regulars on the show "Sarah G Live" as singers and dancers. Later that year they were asked to compete in the WCPA's again in California were they won another 20 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, 4 Over-all Champion Plaques and were crowned "Grand Winner" in the Senior Vocal Group category. After this comtepition they released another album, "The Cercados: Unstoppable" which also did not have much commercial success. Still pursuing their dream, they changed theuir name to MICA, entered the Korean talent contest "Superstar K 6" in 2013, where they finished 8th. Having gone back home frustrated they were about to call it quits, when someone suggested they try the X-Factor UK in 2015, they changed their name to 4th Power for their first audition which is now the single most viral audition of all time for X-Factor videos, they performed "Bang Bang" by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, it now currently has over 193,000,000 views! Beofre the second or third audition, they were told by prroducers that they would have to change their name yet again becuse another group had used the name prior to the girls, ,this is when they caame up with the name they use today, 4th Impact. While only finishing in 5th Place, they consider this a successful contest as it put them on the map so to speak, after this contest they were renewed in their pursuit of their dream. So here we are today, 13 original songs and to numerous to count covers and 17 Music Videos. These ladies live and breathe music.
As you mentioned, voices do not mature until later 20's to mid-30's, and the youngest (the one thought might be the oldest) was only 25 at time of this performance. The eldest one with the incredible whistle note was 33 at the time. Only she had 8 voice lessons, at age 8 since they were so poor and lived in the rural area, and she taught here sister how to sing from what she knew. They actually placed 5th in X-Factor UK, so that's why they were on the post-X Factor tour. Yes, totally agree that the lack of n audience makes it difficult , but their livestreams from where they live are just incredible, going on for at least 3.6 hours only limited by the equipment that they have. Other live performances you should react to: their original "February" (Album Launch), also their original "Round and Round" from their livestream. On the latter of course that's just their Airbirb equipment but with a little twist.
This performance was an online, live streaming concert, called Forte. They performed with another Filipino group, SB19, during the concert. As you note, this was during the pandemic, and both groups had to cancel live concerts. They came together to give their respective fans a show. Almira, the whistle noter, is the only sister, I believe, who had any formal singing lessons. She won a signing contest when she was very young; as part of the prize, she was given free singing lessons. I believe she said she was classically trained. I'm not sure how many lessons she received. Almira taught her sisters, Irene (who led off the song), Mylene (end, on the right side), and Celina (end, left side; she is also able to whistle note) what she had learned and they were off and running as a group from that point (2001). They used to do the "whooo" quite a bit more during performances, but haven't done so much in more recent performances. Thank you for reacting to them. 4th Impact fans (Dreamers) are relentless in supporting and promoting the girls. lol Allow me to be the first relentless Dreamer to ask you to analyze their live X Factor performance of "I'll Be There": th-cam.com/video/SSySZF-V8rQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RYp3Unhicxp6EJbO
The reason you feel there may be a lack of support at the beginning has a lot to do with a formula that these girls often follow in their song arrangements. They will start as softly (lowest volume) as possible, and then build and build and build all the way to the climax of the song. Overall, it works very well for them because of their remarkable ability to blend with such precision on the belts. The dark brunette who you suggested might be the oldest because of her mature voice is actually the youngest (but tallest) of the group. The oldest is the shortest and, in fact, their age vs. stature is reciprocal so that oldest to youngest will give you shortest to tallest (though you have to mind what height of shoes each of them are wearing since that can skew the results while trying to compare their statures). As concerns their singing: Nobody sings pitch perfect all the time, nobody. So, if a note is a bit off here of there that just proves they do not cheat with auto tune. And that means a lot these days when it seems very few have any idea how to sing any more! Subscribed....hope you will do a lot more from these girls. They have hundreds of videos and 9 or 10 original songs of their own! Ciao!😀😀😀😀
Thank you for your reaction to 4th Impact. My favorite girl group. Please react to their live performance of “Never Enough” performed at PPOP CON 2022. Thank you so much. I will subscribe in anticipation of it.
Thank you so much for this analysis. It's great to have you're professional insights into their singing. You pronounced their last name perfectly. If you want to see them handling a large audience then you should analyze their performance at PPOPCON (Pinoy Pop Convention and Concert) 2022, specifically when they do their medley of the Greatest Showman songs. It starts at 10:03 of the video with "A Million Dreams," then at 12:43 "Never Enough" and at 16:06 "This Is Me." If this is too much then "Never Enough" would be good for an analysis. It will make you happy. www.youtube.com/watch?=asNXhiECH90&t=17s ❤
Thanks for reacting to 4th Impact. I wonder if the hard consonants at the end of some lines is because English is not their first language. They can sing in several different languages and I have seen Mylene (far right, and their vocal arranger) coach them on diction during recording sessions. They have many live performances on line. Some notable ones are The Prayer, Never Enough, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Imagine.
Personally I dont think this song did them justice. I think they sounded much better when they sang "Never Enough" and "This is Me" Live just sitting together in 2018. I think they struggle with live harmonies at times but there are times when their harmonies are Magical. Bye the way they should have won xfactor easily but since the voting is in the country the show is in the locals got the votes.
This was a digital on line concert stream ....no-one in the room but MANY viewers on-line. The thing I find with these ladies is ........should I be paying attention to the lead singers or the background harmonies.......
For a better version, try Katrine Velarde and Mariane Osabel. The best thing 4th Impact ever did was their audition for X Factor. They blew the roof off with "Bang, Bang".

Sneak a peak at "Life in 3D". 2 brothers and a sister. Great harmony ( in my opinion).
this is live singing. no tech enhancements. Not many can do that. they did it well, some vocal issues was due to nerves - I CAN TELL..
The was a little nervous at that time they was just signed to Sony music at that time and all the big shots were watching.

Please react to stell of Sb19 All by Myself with David Foster
Not overly in agreement with the analysis. However, you have a right to your opinion.
i guess you like listening to pitch corrected singer who cannot sing

No subscribers just a harrisment channell
You’re a joke. 4th Impact has so many spectacular performances.
