  • The Norwegian Embassy in Uganda is set to withdraw its services come July 2024. This comes after 29 years in which the Norwegian embassy has fully provided its aid and services to different sectors of the country ranging from health, Education and to supporting different projects through government and civil society organizations. The Funds that have been provided to all Norwegian missions whose services have been withdrawn will be used in development back home.
The decision to withdraw services from Uganda was resolved earlier this month by the Norwegian Cabinet. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition

I'm sad to hear that the Norwegian Embassy has closed in Uganda.
It is understandable for the Norwegian Government to keep those funds in Norway. Money is hard to come by in these times.

Who have more human rights abuses than countries in Europe and the Western world. With the amount of information available now you'll cannot feed us the hog wash BS about democracy and Human Rights existence in the Western world. Norway quick to take away minorities children without cause and normally on some spurious excuse that is only related to differences in cultural norms. They trample on ethnic minorities human rights all the time I don't see people like you chastising them. Why? Miss us with that rethoric about African countries not respecting human rights. You all don't either.
