9:10 this morning, quick editing, said at 12 minutes something. Nice video. They needed a horseless carriage. A motor vehicle then, bet they would have got up.
An amazing tunnel, Andy, how it was hewn out of this sandstone rock of Nottingham. A fairly large undertaking, railway style civil engineering for its time. That gradient was obviously too steep for horse and carts, so it makes you wonder why it was ever built in this manner. You gave us all some good detail of this tunnel, Andy, and thank you for making the video. Nice little hints of Ant, to complete the picture.

The sandstone is a special type I think they call it cross bedding’ when the sand beds all intersect an non parallel angles, so it means in the Triassic period there was actually a river with many channels flowing through the land!
