It was great to see Rock café open with live entertainment....... its always our last stop in an evening as my two boys just love music and bands and then on our way back to our hotel we call at Mr Crepes which is just divine. I hope he is still there serving from his little trailer hut. Looking forward to seeing your hotel enjoy!! Kirsty 😃

We are sulking this weekend as we were due to fly out this Saturday - but roll on November and keeping fingers crossed we can get there. Looking forward to seeing the hotel you stayed at. I’m new to the channel and love the professionalism with lots of information. Fuerteventura is one of our favourite places for a relaxing and chilled holiday. El Cotillo is our choice but Correlejo also great. Keep up the good work.

Great video, thank you. We did manage to get a break over there early July and as your video shows it felt very safe and normal. Should be there now but the quarantine back in the uk is an issue for us. Will be back as soon as it’s lifted.

Hi Amelia & Sarah hope you’re enjoying your staycation. It’s great to see how things are in Fuerteventura - we normally visit a few times each year and are really missing the island. If you’re still in Corralejo when you read this, you should try the restaurant Meson Las Tejas (it’s on the street leading to the Waikiki beach bar). The restaurant is run by the sons of the owners of Avenida - same great food, generous portions and excellent value. Looking forward to your follow up videos of your trip & hopefully we’ll make it over there ourselves before this year is over xx

Hi ladies, when I see how relatively normal things are looking, i'm even more upset that my holidays for the 1st with jet2 has just been cancelled yet again. Even my Dec holiday with tui has been cancelled (from East Mids), though have rebooked from Birmingham. Keep 'em coming x
It’s frustrating isn’t it John! The package holiday companies won’t fly with the FCO advice in place but Ryanair and EasyJet continue to bring people in. Let’s hope things improve so you can get out here in December! 😀

Thanks for another great video Amelia and Sarah, they have kept us going over this time stuck back in the UK. We went to Fuerteventura for the first time back in January and now class it as one of our favourite places. Myself and Michal are like you two, love to travel alot and explore, grabbing an amazing experience for a fraction of the cost. We often use an app called "The Fork" for restaurant recommendations sometimes with 50% off and other great deals. Keep up the brilliant videos and thanks again!! Best wishes, Keith & Michal ❤️. Ps: You two are living our dream, we'd love to know if you'd have any tips for retiring early and moving to the Canaries 😊
Thanks so much both! That app looks good, will give it a try. We broadly followed the FIRE principal to early retirement (give it a google if you’ve not heard of it). Essentially we had a plan, lived well under our means and invested/saved as much as possible. Fuerteventura is a great location choice as the cost of living is lower as well as the great weather. No regrets here 😀👍
Evangelia Mintzai Amazing! I don’t know many people that are aware of it. We had been following some of the ideas for a few years before getting more serious about it. Once we did it took 4 years to reach our goal. We were fortunate with the timing of buying property here which helped accelerate things and we don’t have children so I think that a big impact too. It’s a great idea for a TH-cam channel
Evangelia Mintzai I used to mainly read blogs like Mr Money Moustache a few years ago. Videos/Vlogs of people sharing their journey were a bit thin on the ground then. I can imagine it’s become more popular but keep going with the videos 👍

I suppose it’s because of the limited capacity with the tables all spaced out and nobody allowed to stand at the bar. Every table was taken though, we did well to get in!
Absolutely loved this video. Commonsense prevailing regarding the virus at last and also the reduced police on the streets. The people instinctively know that this situation is not as bad as they are being told.
In the UK a couple of days ago, according to the Office of National Statistics the death toll was just 4. That's four too many of course but compared to nearly a thousand a day just a few months ago, what can I say.

Yes, a lot of talk about infection rate but not so much the death rate which is fortunately now looking much lower than first feared. Of course we have to protect the vulnerable and high risk but at some point we have to find a way to keep living before the economy completely tanks
@@AmeliaBolger I absolutely agree 👍. Never in human history (as far as I know) have the healthy been quarenteened. The elderly and vulnerable need to be protected whilst the healthy are allowed to get back to work. In the UK 🇬🇧 there is a 99.97% survival rate or a 0.03% mortality rate. That's really important to recognise. Anyway, I'd better stop or I'll go off on one lol 😂
