Seventeen wooded acres surround this historic Victorian on popular North Lubec Road. This original period home sits on a knoll looking across the road to views of Johnson’s Bay. The home still features original moldings, pocket doors, hardwood floors, fireplace and ornate mantel and more. A full 3 stories with an alternate master bedroom suite on the third floor. A heated sun porch makes a great place to relax and leads into the main house.
Inside you will notice the wood floors and original trim. A galley kitchen is located off a breakfast nook with a butler pantry into the dining room which the current owner uses for an office. A double parlor is currently utilized as a large dining room and front living room with a beautiful working fireplace. The spacious front hall with sweeping staircase was once used as the main entrance. The original double doors still feature beveled and etched glass with the original owners’ initials. A small powder room with sink and flush was installed under the stairs.
The second floor has a nice landing with an area created as a reading nook or small office. Views of Johnson’s Bay can be seen from there and two bedrooms. The third floor has been finished creating a full bath, sleeping area, small office area and a good size sitting area with views out over the bay.
Perennial gardens surround the home and could use some work. Themed steppingstones adorn the walkway to the small porch on the front. Enjoy the evening breezes relaxing on the porch or the sound of the songbirds visiting the rose bushes in the front.

The exterior reminded me of an old doll house, with lace curtains even,,,, 💕
The interior, old and quaint. What a treasure 💖
Thanks for the comments 5 Wheels! Check out the 3D tour link if you have not seen it yet at my.matterport.com/show/?m=JahUx7CqatE
So pretty.
Thank you! 😊
I think it's just outstanding. As a side note, on the personal side. I own the two quilt patterns that my Great-Grandmother made that the owner has on two of the beds. My heart sang when I saw that. I bet they are a true treasure to her also.
Good luck with the sale, thanks for the tour. Warmest wishes to all.
Thanks for sharing and the kind words K.
Absolutely gorgeous home. Definitely ‘The Ghost & Mrs Muir’ vibes. In a era of darker wood stains, the wood window frames & doors are stunning.
Thanks for the comments Valerie.
This house needs about $200,000 worth of renovations. Literally no kitchen.
Thanks for sharing.
I was thinking more than 300,000
Beautiful home, but too old now for stairs.
Thanks for watching.
I bet her leg is hurting with 3 floors.
Na - I'm use to it! lol As long as I'm not carrying around a big camera!
Needs a new roof
No it doesn't. Roof is new.
PAINT THE OUTSIDE TWO COATS. AND ASK FOR 100.000 MORE
LOL
It does need some paint.
Thanks for the tour. Lovely home.
Thanks for watching!

This is a dream home! Stunning! 😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks for sharing.
It's easy to see when the house was built by looking at the assessor's office, especially as recent as 1890's.
In Maine assessors offices don't usually have data going back that far.
Has the property been surveyed
The property disclosure says yes.
Barely even showed the view...
Thanks for watching.
I would love to see this property without the current owners’ belongings in there.
When you buy it the belongings will be moved out.
@@lifestyleproperties The owner has started moving out the belongings so it is not as "crowded" as it was. If yu would like some updated pictures let me know. Also they are putting in a new boiler(furnace) hopefully next month.
Way too much $ for a mediocre home that's way too far north to generate this price!
Thanks for the feedback.
