I pretty much adopted tips prioritizing weapon range, Persona fusing, and the One Mores and All-Outs. The rest I haven't given much thought on account of all the time to take between missions on resetting skill trees and all that jazz. Right now I'm in the second Kingdom prioritizing high movement stats in my party. But I'll look about giving the bruiser types you mention some reps in mission replays too. All a matter of layouts in terms of maps, set pieces and enemies one has to analyze before choosing what's the best setup for them to get missions done the quickest.
The ranged weapon thing reminds me of Digimon Survive where the best monsters are the ones who can either move 4 or 5 squares and attack from a mile away and the short range attackers are really bad.
Rob: Range here really just does give you more options. However, P5T does give you situations where short range and power is viable so still a case to case thing. Overall though, Range really wins it for me.
Well for the range one it does depends on the character them self as on modes like merciless you would want power weapons on the multi target units like ann and ryuji might shoot your allies accidently and all that but i think imma do lisen to the range tip However, i think additinal stats and passives are better then normal skills becuse of greats like salt in the wound and hawkeye that increases your dps and range respectively
Rob: That's a good tip actually. Stats and passives are huge. For me, skills would primarily serve as way to just extend your positioning leading up to the ALL OUT. I will say though that I have yet to try Merciless so I'm really curious to see how vastly different gameplay would be for that mode.
And if i am to be fair i havent tried hard as i did merciless as my first run just all i am saying is that on merciless your aoe attacks can hit your friends and foes alike witch can lead to you failing some side objectives and for the early game Guns are better then skills but when you get good enough Sp or you are Erina i would say that guns and skills are both very useful most of the time
Pretty crutial early game and mid game to some extebd with side objectives and only 1 batton pass so i play more carefully especually with revengers basically 2 or 3 hitting all the party
Hello! Would recommend checking out the character guide we did on this as well. Selecting the proper characters and knowing who to bring may help you get further :)
He said “and finally the penultimate tip” he meant it’s the last one. Also if you look at the bottom left corner you’ll see that it says tip 7 and it is 7 tips.
@@DozenMarks yeah, but the original question was “where’s the ultimate tip?” that was the point. It of course was a mistake though. If this read as rude I didn’t mean it to.
Can we unlock all of the skills in a single playthrough or do we need to go New Game Plus to do that? I'm asking since I read somewhere that the skills you unlocked are carried over to the new save file.
Rob: If you do all the side content, you should be able to unlock almost all, if not all, the skills in a single playthrough. And yes, you can definitely carry over your stuff to NG+
this game seems to punish close combat very bad, i never really like tactics rpg, but this one i tried cuz i got free gamepass from a friend. that's why makoto sucks

Rob: Nice! Yup, absolutely agreed. You really take into consideration each setup if you want to optimize. Glad your playthrough's going well so far!

Rob: Hope it helps!

@@mochie9360Ooh nice! Can confirm that there's also friendly fire in Hard too but I can only imagine how much more crucial it would be at merciless

Any more tips you could recommend i pretty uch do all this already and i still get my shit rocked almost every match on easy

Wait, penultimate means 'second last', where's the ultimate tip?

@@Stone_Ocean Sure. But that's not what penultimate means, which was the original point.
Rob: Oof, Thanks for pointing that out. I seem to have misspoke. Will take note of that :)
