    Brother, I watched one of your videos for the first time probably around December. Started writing down my beliefs and just started being okay with sitting down with my anxiety and breathing, calming myself down with the awareness I'm alive and present. Started blessing my short comings and my enemies, started blessing my mistakes and addictions. It is April now and I am a different man. Perhaps on the outside things seem similar, but i can say with a wad of confidence that I am a complete and total different person. Your videos opened my eyes to truth and since then I've found truth everywhere and every day. Bless you Joey, your talks are amazing and the calmness and non judgemental voice you have really open the doors to learning. Forever grateful to you bud.

    I knew the technique you mentioned in your previous video sounded like the Lefkoe Method! Glad you went deeper into it here. I came across it many years ago and did one of the free sessions on the website to release one belief (I think it was mistakes and failure are bad). It worked really well! But I was so in an identity that wouldn’t let myself significantly change that I came up with all sorts of reasons not to pursue it.
    I'm so glad you've brought my attention back to it because I am definitely ready to release the limiting beliefs and limited identity. I'm happy my guidance led me to your channel. It never leads me astray and your teachings are exactly right for me, but even my mind was blown with that blast from the past when you mentioned the Lefkoe Method. I got goosebumps haha. 😅 Love your videos, Joey!

    What has shaken me from bottom tô the top is when he says that IF when we do not focus on the other end of the equation it is because we do not want it.
    IF we want peace but we keep on thinking about the bad things people have been doing against us it means we really do not want peace.

    That was very helpful and practical. I looked up the Lefkoe Method and did one of the "clear a limiting belief for free" sessions and was amazed by the result. It seemed so deep but yet so simple at the same time. The part at the end where Morty explains that we have been creating all along but have confused the creation with being the reality of who we are was a very profound realization for me. I feel lighter and more free and just want to keep going with clearing. Thank you!

    • @joeylott568
      @joeylott568  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Anything that is focused on outer actions is rearranging the furniture. Inner focus gives real change because the inner creates the outer. Of course some outer action is typically necessary. So I am not saying do nothing. But if the focus is on outer, the results will ultimately be more of the same. Whereas when the focus is on inner, the right actions will naturally result.

    I followed up by watching some of Lefkoe’s videos of him getting rid of a belief. I have been using your method of asking if it is true, what are the consequences and do I want to keep it. I must admit I have also been following that process up by asking my subconscious if there are any stored emotions concerning the belief that are ready to be released. I then find out what those emotions are and release them. I then find out when I picked up the emotion. Writing all that out seems to help intensify the practice for me. It seems to work but Lefkoe’s system looks profound, can hardly wait to try it out.
    I do have a question that a lot of people might be curious about. What do you do for entertainment? Are there any TH-cam channels you watch that don’t have anything to do with spirituality just for pure fun that you like, sports or hobbies? I think many of us may get ourselves in trouble by our choices of entertainment so it’s actually a serious question.😊
    Thanks for another banger! I’m on your schedule to talk again soon. ✌️

      Anger is usually employed to protect something. You said in your first comment that the meditation is nonsensical
      My guess is the meditation is threatening your point of view, and anger is arising to protect that point of view. Consider why you don’t like what you hear in the meditation and see if you can feel into the emotions that come up without making them a problem
      Negative emotions are like food that got stuck in the digestive process of our mind. They need to be allowed through by being felt without resistance
      It’s useful to find the trigger and spend some time undoing the paradigm where an idea is so threatening to you that your body would respond with anger
      It’s vital that you empty your anger by allowing it to be felt all the way, while to the best of your ability not using it to feed any thoughts that come up with it
      What I mean by that is don’t let the sensation act as proof of the validity of your thoughts about it. The thoughts are ultimately just commentary, but if we empower them with emotion, they control us
      Let the thoughts happen and leave them neutral
      Let the emotions run until they feel neutral

    Why is meditation bad. Also, im having so much trouble differentiating envisioning positively without giving attention to the negative aspect of it.
    And i cant get behind trying to make myself believe im healthy when i know im not. So how does one envision oneself as healthy without acknowledging and giving attention to their unhealth? I really wish he had fleshed that out more.

    Hey Joey,
    is releasing really that easy and simple?
    I always had the belief that it is necessary to "work through" trauma intensely (body work, feeling it again and again, expressing it, bringing it in contact with others).
    Like trauma healing is a long and arduous journey.
    I'm excited to release that belief, but I want more "evidence".
    Have you observed in yourself and others again and again that it can be that easy to release trauma and conditioning?

      Yes, it can be that simple and easy. Of course, like all things it takes practice to gain confidence. Consider walking as an example. You may now perceive walking as simple and easy. But it took some practice to gain the confidence. So I encourage you to practice releasing beliefs until you get confidence that it works and can be simple and easy. FYI, I am planning to offer a workshop series (a paid program at a very reasonable fee) soon which will give direct experience and allow participants to release many common core beliefs. • @joeylott568
      @joeylott568  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I find that releasing the limiting beliefs is a very efficient and quick way to get good results. So I encourage you to keep observing and see if you can start to identify the beliefs as thoughts.
      If you still aren't able to do that, however, there are other ways to go about it. I cannot reasonably give you instructions for most of those in this comment. But one simple method is this:
      Feel the feeling and ask yourself when is the first time you can remember feeling that feeling? Then focus on that memory as you move your eyes side to side repeatedly and smoothly. I give instructions in this video: th-cam.com/video/Mk214Q-d3is/w-d-xo.html

      Because it means dozens of different things, so it is really not a very clear term. And also because some things people are doing in the name of meditation are dangerous and reckless.
