Great video Dmitry! it was good to see the pigtail technique in action, hope you'll do another (slower) one on land illustrating all the different parts/pieces/steps, we have to be 100% sure on these things, or we'll all have to come to Ile Maurice...

1- Are you connecting the pigtails directly to each other, if so how as it will be knot to knot or loop to loop? Or are you using some sort of short connection line that you carry with you?
2- How did you connect the front lines to your harness hook/leash so you have some sort of a safety system? It's hard to tell on the video.
The live demo is great but maybe you should do a follow up video on the beach, showing things in more details in a less confused environment.

Thank you very much my friend for sharing this technique, I have heard people talking about it but never seen how it's done.
it has it's advantages for sure, this could or would come handy in certain situations like you said, but i think as a beginner or beginners it's a little advanced.
It's nice to see fellow kiters come to the rescue as always, that's why i like this sport almost everybody is friendly and helpful.

Can you please make a video on dry land where you show exactly what you are doing when pigtail rescuing? It's really hard to figure out exactly what you are doing in this video.

Does the weight of the sort material in the extension reduce light wind foiling?
I used 2m kite lines Ozone for extension in this video. They are no different from other kite lines in thickness.

Стоит ли сразу отпускать кайт в дрейф не размотав планку? В хороший ветер кайт может попытаться рестартануть не дожидаясь полной размотки и тогда одна управляющая стропа почти наверняка окажется короткой с дальнейшим лупом
Если есть какие-то сомнения, конечно не стоит!

This is a cool technique but it looks like you’re able to do this with ~3m extensions? If the back lines don’t have extensions I don’t think this is possible.

Одна силовая стропа цепляется карабином лиша за крюк, вторая силовая стропа цепляется к крюку с помощью страховки лиша
Да, всё верно, при такой способе прицепляния у нас будет работать система страховки, а в образовавшуюся из кайт лиша петлю можно ещё и боковые стропы поместить, чтобы при отпускании, они никуда не улетали (если нам вдруг две руки для чего-нибудь понадобятся при самоспасении)
А что если твинтип?
Всё также делается, только на твинтипе сидеть не получится
Почему просто стропы не связать ? Узел за 2-3м на силовых - их на крюк. Узел на управляющих - их на руку. Быстрее же, что важно в аварийной ситуации.
Планка может быть потеряна - например в замыве зацепиться за кораллы (у меня такое было), узлом завязаться намертво с другим райдером (у меня такое было).
