First and foremost nice bike! & Great job on putting this video together I have a 06 so like you said it should be similar just alittle scared on putting the forks evenly lol but I’m confident that it should be easy peasy 🤞🏼
@@SUPSGARAGE fair enough and it looked like your tyre was on backwards, the pattern looked like it would funnel water into the centre of the tyre am I wrong?
Not a terrible job but this IS NOT the correct way to install the tire back on while making sure your brake calipers are in perfect alignment with the rotor and the axle on the free leg is correct. Dave moss made a GREAT video many years ago on the ABSOLUTE CORRECT WAY but just to give you an idea your supposed to. 1. torque the axle 2. slide both the calipers on and finger tighten the bolts 3. spin the wheel while pressing the brake lever and THEN HOLD the brake lever WHILE you torque the caliper bolts 4. drop the bike and compress the suspension to get the free leg on the axle side to settle and then torque the pinch bolts on that side
This makes the job was less daunting. Thanks for the video!!!
Glad it helps brother!
Nice video, i am going to replace the seal on the right sude of the fork tomorrow. Watching this will be helpfull👍

Can you post a video on a seized gsxr 1000 ? How to take apart and put back together?
I would love to do that! As soon as one comes in with that issue lol
If only you were in cali lol mines been sitting for about 2 years now

Still no luck on it?
Yes! You remember!!! No, no luck and cant afford to take it in to dealer and other places have a long waiting list because they are short staffed
Do you not have to align the front wheel after taking the forks out?
@@glentracey5492 I have not had an issue not having to brother

@glentracey5492 I don't believe it was put on backwards but it's to far back to tell now 😬 lol
@@SUPSGARAGE Okay thanks for your reply
