Asalam o alikum amir bahi You want opinion here my opinion for you 1 Macbook M4 is okay for your work,editing and (light games). it is lightweight,slim in design. 2 if you are willing to buy macbook then you should sell your one laptop and in my opinion you sell your thinkpad because the other laptop which is gaming laptop is a gift from your best friend (mustafa hanif). 3 Why you don't buy other variants of macbook (pro, promax) the reason is with more powerful chipset your gaming experience became more good but you already have gaming laptop Playstation 5. so i don't think you need pro or promax moreover thier weights also increase which became might problem especially in traveling. 4 this is my opinion Thankyou for asking us ❤.
Perfect for Video/Photo Editing. Not Good for Gaming: Mac is not designed for gaming, very few title out there for mac. As you said your a Data Analyst in a video, its a good machine for your job.
