I think for night 1 an honorary mention could be 450. He dressed well in his purple suit. He also helped to restore my faith in this new generation of dancehall (from the choppa life & popping pills and murdering). His music was clean, you could hear every word he was saying, he engaged the crowd. Surprisingly you guys never mentioned him.

You know what I don’t appreciate about Jamaicans, we fail to read the room. We are too reactive rather than trying to avoid a situation. We live in a world where we are all kept up to date with the latest happenings. I’m sure we are all conscious of the relationship with the ladies. Why would you expect them to comment on her performance? What if they believed something could have been done better? How would they bring that across without social media causing unnecessary contention? From the start of the video, I already knew the artiste would not have been featured when I saw the guest appearances, which is completely fine. “Fi avoid the germs you boil the water!” The saying goes a long way. The artiste is one of my favourite artiste, and I’m sure she knew she delivered an excellent performance which doesn’t need to be reiterated in a TH-camr’s video to solidify the facts. ~Great video Tanz❣️~

Stop downplaying the truth that our world and nation are twisted and thrive on hiccups and repercussions (mixups and conflicts). We like it. No matter how mature or petty I am, if I were in that situation, I wouldn't want to criticize the artist's performance. I should note that I am a big fan of the artiste in question. I quietly rest my case.

The Dave Kelly performance for me took the cake. I know all the songs on all the different riddims (showtime, bug etc) and the highlight for me was just as how it sounded soooo many years ago, the selections sounded the same and in the same sequence on the records with all the original adlibs. I had a wail of a time as if I was there in person, Dave Kelly tribute for me was chef's kiss, I was transported back in time...#As A 90's Dancehall Fan
Sumfest needs to be a week long celebration of Ja🇯🇲 music...I use to come down to sunsplash every year.. the best fun. It was marketed for the European and American markets back in the days of Air Jamaica
