      @TheBananaboydc Not a problem!
      Laying one voice -using overdubs- allows for continuity and reduces the additional cost of hiring extra singers.
      On a side note; At 4:50 - of the documentary - the 2 older white guys discussing edits to Tuxedo Junction tracks are Rinder & Lewis.
      They are very important players in the evolution of Disco. This was before Chic and at the same time as Love To Love You Baby.
      Their most popular alias' are, El Coco, Rinder & Lewis, Le Pamplemousse, Saint Tropez, In Search Of Orchestra, and the poppy Tuxedo Junction. Check them out, they are incredible!

    Yes this is a Peter Brown song. Betty does back ups. You have to hear Betty Wright do vocals with Brainstorm on "Lovin' is Really My Game"! and her hit "Clean Up Woman".

    This was Peter Brown's biggest r&b crossover hit ever!!! It went to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also went to #4 on the Billboard Soul chart and #5 on the Billboard Disco chart around the same time in the spring of 1978. By the way Empress, this a Peter Brown song. The late great Betty Wright sings backup vocals. That's it!!!

    I love this one. Not a lot of lyrics but it is impossible not to move when you hear the groove. That's the recently passed Betty Wright doing the background vocals and Peter Brown doing the verses. This song was somehow not a hit in the U.S. barely reaching the top 30.

      This was Peter's biggest hit. It reached number 8 on the Billboard 100 chart on the 8th July 1978, and it went to number 4 on the Disco charts. That was a bigger hit because the Disco charts were ultra-competitive from 1975 to 1982.
