"Clean Up Woman" is probably Betty Wright's biggest hit. You have to do that one. You have probably heard hip hop records sample that song.

RIP Ms Betty Wright. A true Miami legend! A rich history of great music. Sang background for Stevie Wonder and many others. So humble , she used to give voice lessons to young people in the community. You gotta back to her teen years when she did The Clean Up Woman and Tonight's The Night. Miss her gift.

I’ve never heard of Betty Wright before, but love this music video!💕
Asking you once again to please play and react to the music video “Dance Me to the End of Love”. This song was written by the Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen in 1984 and was dedicated to those who lost their lives during the Holocaust. In a 1995 radio interview, Leonard Cohen said that in certain Concentration Camps, a string quartet was forced into performing this song while their fellow prisoners were being sent into the Gas Chambers. The members of the string quartet knew that their fate would be the same. This music video is beautiful and an important part of our History. It doesn’t contain any footage of the prisoners. I am sure that you and my fellow TH-cam watchers will be “touched” by this music video.
Love your Channel!💕 I am a Patron member, so will be looking at your Patron Channel.

I'm glad Betty Wright stuck to her roots and remained in blues music. She had plenty of opportunities to cross over to other genre's, but remained true to the blues. Now that's a lover of their own art. Salute to her! Seems like you two learned some things when you went down south. Did you find out that all American music with the exclusion of BeBop and Hip Hop originated in the South? The two premiere influences of all our music was Little Richard and James Brown. Both are from Georgia. But they got it from the black church from negro spirituals, enhanced it to the blues, then rock & roll then to soul music and then r&b. When many of them migrated up north, they took the gospel and the blues with them and created the other genre's. I'm not from the south but went to school in Mississippi at Mississippi State and they played the blues all day every Saturday. That's when I learned the history of this lost art form. Please continue to react to more blues artist.
