People mistook this band as a rock band with christian themes....true but this man was abused by a religious fanatic in his stepfather who was a preacher....Dude was actually writing from pain and trying to regain his faith. Absolute tragedy that people hated them for thinking cause everything sounded triumphant but its not entirely about that.

I used to watch Behind The Music series on VH1 and all of the Top 100 best songs, but that was decades ago. Now, it's all garbage.
