Thank you, Pecunious! The most number of Full Houses that I’ve ever hit in 1 hour of play was 21. THAT was crazy! But that’s the beauty of video poker…..its “randomness”. The probability of the pay tables dictates “what” can happen “on average”, but the random number generator says that “anything” CAN happen & it’s great when does, such as: 3 Royals in 3 hours for $110,000 in wins. Greetings from Torrance! Hi John! Mom had a good laugh seeing herself playing. I told her she is now TH-cam famous and will have to sign autographs! I had to go to her house and show the video because she has one of the few houses in America that has no internet. Wow, this was one of those good sessions that I would want every time I play. No quads, but enough full houses to fill a bank. I'm always hoping for a quad, but this will definitely do! Thanks again John!
I’m glad she liked it. From the video, it looks like she’s part of the crew now!🤣 I am amazed at how focused she is on the game. She’s a very good player! Thanks for everything Paul.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Very nice John! 👍 More often than not, the tone of the session is set early. By the way, I thought the pace of play was perfect! Yes, indeed. Finally a machine that never really dipped down beliw the starting bankroll threshold. That wss fun, even though no Quads showed-up to put the icing on the cake.🥹🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Yes! It was so unlikely to have all those Full Houses hit. A pair converts to a Full House once every 98 times held, so they don’t come around that often in such as short session. One time (at Palace Station in Vegas), I hit 21 Full Houses in exactly 1 hour and that has never occurred again since!😅🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I was happy with the “steadiness” of this little run for a quick $500. This kind of “stability” played on a $20 coin denomination would have resulted in a $10,000 win, on a $50 coin denomination, it would have been $25,000, & $50,000 on a $100 coin denomination. This was a good example of how big money can be made on just the “bottom of the pay table” hits without any big hands. If the player scales-up the coin denominations.😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Glad you had such good hands. I can rarely here the noises you mention. I think you have a god mic that takes care of screaming tridactyls! Just stay far, far away from the cash machines! :)
It’s getting harder and harder to find a good quiet area to film anymore. These gigantic slot machines are invading the oeace and quite that’s generally reserved for video poker players in their areas of the casinos. I wonder if they’ll start making huge video poker machines?!😝🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Hi, Sal. Yes, that was a different sort of run. I stayed above par, but just couldn’t connect with those quads. Later, the next day, I was playing (but not filming) and I was getting dealt K’s, dealt 9’s, and a set of Quad 2’s & Quad 3’s. Go figure! It was all on 25¢, 50¢, & $1 coin denominations!😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I've been going to Pechanga since they were in double wides and thought I knew every inch of the place, but I don't recognize the area where you are playing. Is it in the area where the buffet used to be?
I’m glad to hear that someone (besides myself) has been going to Pechanga since it started in those tiny trailers (with only 5 cars parked in the dirt outside) from way back in 1995!!!🤣 Yes! You’re exactly right, where the old buffet used to be!🥹 There’s a bunch of Buffalo machines nearby, plus the ever present and ubiquitous, Caveman Keno, that are in the same rows of video poker machines there. I’m only glad someone wasn’t playing the “even louder and gigantic” 5-Reel Bally’s Quick Hit Machine (against the column, near the center of that room) That machine is truly ear drum piercing loud and overpowers every machine in the area!!!🥵I try not to play in there too much, specifically because, of the noise level. I tend to play in the larger area (not far from Bamboo) that some of the locals are starting to refer as, “John’s Corner”!🤣 But, I also like the row of 13 machines outside the High Limit area on the main floor (but they have Buffalo over there too: Holy Cow!!!) Also those Big Fu Cashbats Dragon machines in the same vicinity have such loud drums and choo-choo train type noises, that they have blasted me out of that area all together. I like the little video poker alcove nearby and the High Limit room as well. I go all over the place! Thanks for watching!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker OK, I'll check it out, but, like you, I hate those loud machines. The caveman is really bad, but overall the noise of keno machines are all around annoying. I usually play the old triple play machines in the high limit room. Very quiet!

Nice session John, I had another nice run tonight @ Resorts tonight. My host threw $150 slot cash @ me on top of my $85 regular slot cash and I was able to convert that into $700. No big Jackpots tonight, but I did have some close calls and get a little content posted. Best of luck to you, hope to see you in AC in the spring!
$700 off of free play is an awesome run. Good show! I’ve been to Resorts in Atlantic City and I liked it’s vintage charm. What kind of pay tables do they have there nowadays?🌎
@@johnsworldofvideopoker Thanks bud, yeah I know they aren't the most elegant casino in the city, buy I've played them all quite a bit and I prefer the older IGT machines. Most of the casinos in AC have updated their machines and changed they pay tables along with the RNG. I've been playing mostly 8/5 Joker, and I hit on 9/5 Draw Poker on Sunday. My wife hit on a non linked, non progressive 50 cent DDBP, 9/5 game last week. This is at the parking garage end of the casino opposite the board walk. There are some older IGT flat screens down near the table games and a few in the high roller pit, but down at the Board Walk, they are all newer games, I don't recall the pay tables but I didn't do well on them so I stay away. When I used to play at the old Show Boat Casino, the RNG's in the joker poker room were very predictable giving you a straight flush, or two prior to the 5 of a kind. The machines I play now are simular. I even found two slot attendants that used to work there and paid me many times! I usually play the in house linked progressives if they are near a certain dollar amount, otherwise I play any of the older flat screen older IGT machines that generally have a coin denom from 25 cent to $1 bet. I'm fairly certain the high roller pit has higher denom machines with more options. I just can't seem to leave my favorite pit! Why leave if I'm winning, right? 😉

It all depends on what your goals are for any given session, particularly in the context of wether you’re “up” or “down” for the year. This year, I have not won or lost a whole lot either way. So in terms of “risk tolerance” for the remainder of the year, my goal is to conserve bankroll, so I can start-off Big in 2023 (even more so for the sake of my viewers on the channel). I want 2023 to be Big & stay big throughout the year. Over time, if you take a “goal-oriented” approach to each session, you video poker discipline will more than likely give you better results overall. Great thought provoking question! I appreciate that and your viewership!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Thank you so much. And, Yes, it is smoke free and so is Barona in my area too. So nice! I’ll be doing a series on Barona in the near future. Thank you for your loyalty to my channel!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
lots of hits on the lower end of the pay table i dont mind that at all,not many players will spend alot of time on this game or jacks or better.bonus poker is my favotite game.
Just came from there this Thanksgiving weekend... Played $2 double-double at four bars in 5 sessions... $1500 in on Wednesday... $1000 in on Friday afternoon... Finally, four aces and a kicker $1600 and another $1600 somewhere else I can't remember on Friday night... Can't complain I guess but thought the action was poor... Two-pair best dealt most of the time... Struggle to make full-house anything out of anything... Like Vegas to me...
Not bad for 5 sessions especially on the more volatile DDB game. Sounds like everything was spaced out quite a bit, and it ended-up being a grind for you, but it looks like you “gamed-them” rather well and prevailed against the odds! Good Job!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Good run. Why don' t you play double up? I never did. Until. about 25 years ago at mystic lake casino MN I was playing the dollar coins (slugs) and the lady next to me got a coin jam and attendants opened machine and gave her the coins she lost. Then there was 1 credit left in the machine. They played it (i'm sure against rules) but got jacks or better. Then they doubled up because they couldn't keep it as employees. It went 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512 and going for 1024 they finally lost. They were laughing but my jaw dropped. I never thought it could go so many times in a row. My friends and I started doubling all the time after that with huge success. Double till you have to pay taxex. LOL. Seems the only fair 50/50 bet in the casino? But not really because to get the chance to double you have to bet at casino odds first. Oh well. Good luck
Double-up is a 50/50 propostion on the 1st shot, then 25 for / 75 against on the next one, then 12.5 for / 87.5 against, then 6.25 for / 93.75 against and so on. They usually set limits on the number of doubling events. I think 4 or 5 is the maximum amount of doubling. It is fun on occasion, but it eventually catches-up to the player. I have hit 4 doubles before though and it was exhilarating!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I know right?!🤣Thank you, for pointing that out! Even if the “incorrect cards” are held the player can win! That’s what I mean when I say near-perfect play is “good enough”. The player can make mistakes and still come out ahead. Thank you for your comments!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I tell my video poker buddy that sometimes incorrect play can give you more money over the short term, but perfect play will give you more money over time. Nice video John....as always!
Those big machines are kind of annoying. I really believe that whoever is sitting at 'em, should have headphones on that are specific to the machine and the player so that everyone else can gamble in peace
What a great idea! Imagine if video poker players had gigantic 12ft tall machines at full volume everywhere (from all sides) at all times….people would be p.o.’d! They should have a volume limiter on all those slot machines. Great idea, great comment brotha'. Truth!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I think I will shift my play to Pechanga in 2023. Yaamava keeps throwing free play my way and it is the closest but Pechanga has better pay tables and a better environment, it seems like. May just claim the free play, food, and gifts, and run.
Yaamavá doesn’t have good pay tables at the lower denominations and have a very limited number of machines, however their high limit pay tables are awesome! But you’re 100% correct, Pechanga has the best pay tables in Southern California. And I have good news for you too; they’re adding 144 additional video poker machines at Pechanga on December 1st. And you can bet that I’ll be there for the roll-out too!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

@@johnsworldofvideopoker great insight and a very thorough answer. Thank you
John when do you normally go to Pechanga? Days nights weekdays or weekends. I normally go Saturday nights
Hi, Pita. I usually go Tuesdays for sure for my free play, but I live close-by, so I can go there any time, really. You can contact me at johnsworldofvideopoker.com (if you would like to be featured in one of the Intros to my videos). Just reach-out to me and we’ll figure it all out. Have a great day!😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
hope some new videos are coming
Yes! I had an unexpected quick trip to Vegas with Slotmassacre, so I had to postpone the launching of my continuation video from Pechanga. Hopefully, I can launch it this Friday, after Thanksgiving.😁🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Great intro John.. I love your videos. Is Pechanga smokefree? Andrew may be the VP King, but, you John, are the FH King.
Mine too!😉🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Just came from there this Thanksgiving weekend...
One session like this a day and I'd get healthy financially in a hurry😁😉👍
Yes, indeed! I wish every session rolled this way!😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Even though the 7's were the proper hold, if you held the AQ of hearts you would have hit 4 aces.
Thank you, Kevin. As we go into 2023, I’ll be scaling up the coin denominations. Thanks for watching!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
