I feel like I’m like you…I’ve watched so many videos that they are not comfortable but I feel like I just want the Hermès ones! I just bought the Sam Edelman version so hopefully this will keep me from purchasing the Hermès ones!!
I tried the same thing with a pair I found at a boutique on vacation. I wore them and realized all I really wanted were the Orans… so I got them and the knock offs were more comfortable 😂😂 but the Orans are truly a beautiful shoe and look much nicer. I’ll let you know if they ever become comfortable 😂😂
Hey, I got the exact same Orans as you in January 2022, the leather soles of mine have worn really bad and have discoloured around the heal area and on the Hermes logo, it’s gone much darker in parts. Have yours done the same thing now as you have had them longer? I’m trying to work out if it’s general wear and tear or if I should send mine back.
Oh my gosh! No, mine still look nearly brand new after a good amount of wear. Maybe you should contact Hermes and send photos if you don’t have a nearby store? That is so unfortunate!
Yes I have, they have told me that they will need to be sent to Paris for inspection and it will take around 9 months to get them back. Such a long time but maybe it’s worth it in the long run. Thank you for getting back to me. X
I don’t have any Hermes boots! But I did order some CL booties! I will do a review when I get them! My go to boots are actually from Steve Madden 😂 thank you for the suggestion!!
Yes they are a dark tan/brown color! Hermes gold is definitely not a true gold. The Oran sandals do come in a metallic that is more of a true gold color!

When the package was delivered to your front door was it the orange box taped or did it come in another box?
I bought it in store! But I’m sure online orders come in an unmarked box!

Oh wow, 9 months!! I guess it’s better to have them inspected and potentially replaced than nothing? Would they even accept a return at the store?
