@@danangbudisantoso3446 hello - we have two of these evoque’s and yes they both have an auxiliary battery 🪫 this is a 2012 and the auxiliary battery is inside the car under the dashboard, the other is a 2014 model and the auxiliary battery is inside the engine compartment close to the wipers. Thanks 😊
Thank you for the video, it really helpful. May I ask if you need to reset the battery monitoring system, BMS as I read someone’s comments about this. Thank you
Thank you so much for this step by step video. I followed it and t it was perfect. I placed the new battery in and somehow lost the small nut for the negative post. It started and I drove it across the parking lot to my condo, then was unable to retrieve the nut. Bought a new one but when touched the negative post their was a sparking sound and now battery is dead again!! Any thoughts??? Thanks
@@AllAboutCarzz exactly.. used a jumper from a neighbor, got it started then ran into my O’Reilley’s Auto store. The hex nut was size 10 (5/16?) and after 8 different trials found one and locked that puppy down. Thankfully I didn’t short out the battery! Again you saved the day!!!
@@caucasianrize53 great question. I can’t answer that one, I am showing you what I did on my car that is park outside right now and it is driving great.
Do you know where the secondary battery is on this one. Iv seen 10 different videos with a bunch of different locations. Don’t see it in any places shown yet.
@@AllAboutCarzz i was working on a 2016 evoque. After a minute of searching I found out there isn’t even a secondary battery. The dash display that kept bringing up low battery was because you have to program the main battery when swapping. Everything I read kept leading me to a secondary battery.
@@jaytek5680 Hello please make sure you double check because my friend have one 2014 pure plus and the 2nd battery is between the fire wall and engine in the engine compartment. She had to replace hers recently. J
@@AllAboutCarzz on the 2016 it was just a relearn. Didn’t have a secondary. Your info was a huge help tho. I knew were to look if it would’ve had a one.
Please let us know if this help you 😊
What year is this car.. I have 2015 Evogue .. is there any auxillary battery? or it only 1 primary battery? thanks

Thank you for posting that video, gave me the confidence to fit my own replacement Bosch battery and saved me about £100 over Kwikfit price. 👏👏👏
It is a pleasure
This is perfect, Saved me a lot of time and money, thank you!!
My pleasure, thanks
Thanks man! I'm doing my buddy's this weekend.
My pleasure
Brilliant video
Really appreciated 😊
Thank you 😊 my pleasure
I just completed it. The video was very helpful.
Excellent, thanks
Nice video! Do you need to reset the battery monitoring system?
Thank you 😊 not at all
Yes you should do, it will work ok but it does help to re calibrate it if you have a diagnostic , but this guy has no idea .
Thank you for the video, it really helpful. May I ask if you need to reset the battery monitoring system, BMS as I read someone’s comments about this. Thank you
With my experience I did NOT have to do that.
nice work, did you have any dash errors or window sync issues?
Thank you 😊 not at all.
Nice job
Thanks a lot

Get a new nut and let it run until the battery charges
It sounds like the battery is dead

@@RSpicochi thank you 😊 those Stealerships cost too much these days😄
Engineer should have to walk the plank. Decent video.
Thank you 😊
Hi could you tell me what tool it was that took off the negative and positive 10mm bolts thank you
10 mm wrench or socket
I will need a new battery soon; how much will it cost and where can I purchase one and installation?
Hello 👋 thanks for watching here a link with all the cost and battery information. amzn.to/4fedUs9
Were you making this up as you went along. Great video but needs to be remade to show how to do it without the guess work
😁 I wanted to practice on mine so you guys don’t have to practice on yours 😂
Very useful, thanks! I have a question about it, do you removed the old battery and your ignition, clock, radio... were not blocked?
Thank you @eduardotuve. No problem 😉 at all with blocking of radio or clock. I had that problem with Honda, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
I'm having a hard time with my headlight bulb
have a video on those?
Yes, I do. Almost finished
Do you not reset the energymanagament of your ODB2 ?
No I did not. Thank you
@@AllAboutCarzz I saw on another video that this was done. Is it even necessary to do that?

How many amps?
750 cold cranking amps (935 cranking Amps) thank you
what a hell just to remove a battery..my god
Yes yes
There is no reson to dismount the stabilization bar. Just take out the filter housing and slide the battery out.
Thank you 🙏
You cant, it is in a housing, quicker to take the bar off. Yes I am a mechanic.

On my 2016 it worked just fine. The front on the casing was just to snap off and on again. Guess it differs from model years.
Thank you. What a complicated mess. Bad design I think.
My pleasure. It really is.
Maybe, but it will stop your battery being stolen in a hurry!
