I went with the s22U 512gb. I was on the fence about upgrading this year but I've had my s10+ since launch day in 2019 and it's really starting to struggle with this last Android update. I went with white bc my s10+ was originally supposed to be white as well but the pre-order got messed up and ended up having to get black which was too eh for me. I usually only keep phones 2 years but since Samsung does 3 years support now I held off last year ( also didn't like the s20 or s21 personally ) and I'm glad my current phone held in this long but it's time to part ways with it lol. I'll keep the U until 2024 and see what's going on then but if there's nothing too new or great I'll hold off for a 3 year cycle until 2025.
I was hesitant about the 512g, because in the past, me and my ex would always upgrade to the new Note every year when it came out, he'd get 512g, and I'd get the next step down, because back then, 512g was only ever available in black and I didn't want that color. Anyhoooo, we'd both have the same exact phone, except storage, bought at the same exact time, and he'd always have problems with his, and I never did. Don't know if all the extra storage was slowing it down or what not, but there ya go. I guess we'll see because I got the 512 in white.
You have money to burn. A smartphone to me should take calls, open apps fast enough, be comfortable, and take decent to great photos. My old TCL 10 Pro does that, and i won't be switching in 4 years time. Wonder what smartphones will be like then.
I think the smaller green S22 may be the way for me. I've been reluctant to upgrading since my s10e is still the best of size and function. The extra SD option still makes it hard to part ways. But I'll take the 22 off your hands . . . 😏

Having just played with each model at my Verizon store the ultra is nice but it's definitely noticeably heavier in the hand over the s22+. Also the s22+ flat display feels more comfortable to hold over the s22 ultra curved display. For me the s22+ is the phone I'll be picking.

Every Samsung gadgets on this video are totally amazing especially the ultra models, though not everyone couldnt afford these phones *including the tablets*. The processors on these phones this year are getting more powerful each year. A camera you can carry on a phone on the go, capturing moments, improvement capturing on a lowlight setting. S22 ultra phone wishlist for everyone. How I wish.
I *REALLY* love the white ones. The other colours are cool too, the Phantom Black is my 2nd fav. But the white looks so clean and so minimalistic, its just beautiful.
One thing I've learned in the last 5 years is that no matter how good it looks on paper, you won't really feel much different compared to let's say S10+, S20, S21, or other cheaper phones. My last phone I payed $1000+ for was S10+ and I still use it, my step-father have s21 ultra and I actually prefer the screen on the S10+. I also can't feel any different when using them and both feel just as fast as the other (unless ofcourse using them at the same time) I just can't see myself ever paying over a $1000 for a phone ever again, because they are NEVER worth it imo.
I opted for the s22 ultra as I felt like it'd be a bigger upgrade coming from an s10 😊 I have the burgundy and I love how it's more on the purple side. Since I almost got the s21 in Phantom Violet
I love the vibes of color white and of course the camera quality of S22 Ultra. I am the type of person who loves to take photography so I really prioritize the camera in any aspect of gadgets. But overall, Samsung really did a great job in improving the phones. They really put efforts to what people likes this days.
I would go for the burgundy S22 Ultra, it's a statement. I've mostly done for black but I went outside of my comfort zone with the gold S6 and loved it.
Nice touches on the s22, more symmetric bezels than before, the glass back now is like the iphone (at level with the frame) and the camera modules looks also cleaner merge, overall good improvements to the design

I know right? Same here...
Moe has the best taste
Needless to say for me, Green here is the ultimate color. Good job Samsung!
Burgundy S22 Ultra goes hard, especially with the 10x optical zoom; love the optionality of the frame cases as well.
Hvaing used Note 20 and now S21 Ultra, I think I'd get everything you just showed so I'd have a flawless and seamless ecosystem setup. I think Samsung has finally nailed this aspect this time. Apple has always done this aspect right and every other company seemed to be lacking, not anymore Samsung.
Ehhh I’d say give it a few more years with Samsung to catch up with the ecosystem. Apple has been doing their ecosystem for years
I have never been a Samsung fan, but the S22+green, WOW!. I love the look of white rings on the back camera especially with the black case on. That was fun! Cheers ;-)
Got the S22 ultra. Upgrading from an S9. Very hyped for this phone.
I think the S10 5g was the best Galaxy phone, had a 3.5 mm jack, had expandable storage, had WQHD+ Display had up to 1 TB storage, seeing the refresh rate I don't think it should make a huge difference, my S10 5g is still with me due to this reason.
They have distroyed this with the shitty software.. I'm watching my photo quality drop huge I'm pissed .. I have the s10+.. But glad I'm due for upgrade soon.
My S10 has a higher resolution than the S22, basically same battery, headphone jack, expandable storage, great cameras, and doesn't look like proof that the design team has run out of ideas on how to make cameras look normal. S22 has got some sort of screen refresh difference, and can get updated until 2026. I prefer mine
Switch to xperia 1 iii, I did and I'm never going back to Samsung
@@kaiwebley4768 saying that the S10 has a higher resolution ain't really true come on. I also have both the S10 and the S22. S10 was/is an amazing phone for sureee, but it ain't better than the S22. Cheers and enjoy your phones!
@@TheOfficialCasso what do you mean? The s22 has FHD s10 has QHD. It has a better resolution. Period. But if we wanna discuss if it really makes a difference thats another story

How much better will it really be from the s21? And hopefully it outdoes the iPhone 13/14!
Wait till you see it out of a brightly lit up studio before judging.
@@mikldude9376 where's the judging ? I can't see any judg I mean u buy a phone for 1k and it gets so bad after 1-2 years it's kinda sad also the tiktok for u sign is branded in my screen so it's kinda make me angry that a phone this expensive have this issues after 1 or 2 years...
4 years support now so it's 2026.
Nobody cares
You have money to burn. A smartphone to me should take calls, open apps fast enough, be comfortable, and take decent to great photos. My old TCL 10 Pro does that, and i won't be switching in 4 years time. Wonder what smartphones will be like then.
@@garywoodham7916 didnt ask + ratio
I think the smaller green S22 may be the way for me. I've been reluctant to upgrading since my s10e is still the best of size and function. The extra SD option still makes it hard to part ways. But I'll take the 22 off your hands . . . 😏

Loved the video. New colors on S22U looks great 👍🏼
I ordered the S22 Ultra and is arriving next Friday! Got it for just $11 a month through AT&T.
I really like all the colours honestly. The phone is what impresses me the most.
I am happy with my s21 right now, I liked as they kept the flat display on the s22 and s22+ models it feels more comfortable to hold!
Im in love with that smallest green one, so compact and beautiful design.. I like it a lot.
The montage of Lew just flipping through pages is what really got me
Video starts with "This is insane"
Thats me watching every unbox therapy video. ❤️
I really like that flattened shape on the 22 and 22+! That kind of shape is one of the few things I've ever liked out of iPhones, so it's nice to see an android in that style.
I've been waiting for something better than my Note 9 to come along. When I saw this, I knew the 22 series was the one worthy of the jump. I got my pre-order in for the burgundy ultra. I haven't been this excited for a phone in quite a while. I love it!
You and I buddy.
Finally got the chance to upgrade from my Note 9. Screen is dying.
Have been only using the Note series since the first Note. But didn't always upgrade when a new one came out. The last (and current) Note I'm using is the Note 9.
Can't wait to get my hands on it. Already placed an order for the S22 Ultra
Same here note 9 to Ultra burgundy
I'm coming up from a note 8 but definitely agree it's a huge jump that I'm ready for
Agree 100% also coming from a Note 9. Not a thing wrong with it but I wanted the new latest greatest. Burgundy was sold out so got stuck with black. All good though
Started my Note life with the note 3 and now note 20 ultra.. Note 3 is stil alive and running btw.. love to kill iphone conversations by just taking my note 20 ultra out of my pocket..in my opinion samsung makes the best phones never ever my phone did not work or could not run any program. BOL when I heard "We're professionals here". The sarcasm. 😆😆😆💪💪💪🏆🏆🏆
Having just played with each model at my Verizon store the ultra is nice but it's definitely noticeably heavier in the hand over the s22+. Also the s22+ flat display feels more comfortable to hold over the s22 ultra curved display. For me the s22+ is the phone I'll be picking.
S21 plus is better value than that
@Emmeline Black I didn't check for that. I'd imagine so though.
@@exaltant2464 how?
@@ranran2218 The only visible upgrade in s22+ is processor and charging speed. That too no charger in the box. why would someone shell 250$ for only that. I would pick older gen s21 plus over that.
@@exaltant2464 the camera has been upgraded did you forget about that. Also the build quality is more premium on the s22+. 4 years of guaranteed updates which the s21+ isn't guaranteed to have so longer support. S22+ has a peak nit brightness of 1750 which is higher than the s21 ultra even. To me that justifies getting the s22+ over the s21+ hands down.
I've had the s8+ since the day it was released (was among the first in the country to have it). Been counting the seconds to upgrade to the phantom black ultra. Amazing video man, I legit really can't wait to get my hands on this incredible device!

I totally get that man, I feel the same! Honestly tho, I think the s8+ is one of the best smartphones in the past 10 years. Almost 5 years that I've had it and other than formating it a few times it just worked like a beast. I admit that I WANT to upgrade, even tho I don't HAVE to.
Still on my S8+ too. Love that phone. Approaching 5 years this year. Still going strong but I think this year is the year for me to upgrade.
I'm on the regular S8. I think it's time for the S22 Ultra for me. It's been hard to separate from what was clearly an amazing series of phones.

I honestly want to try out Samsung. I've had iPhones all my life, I'm starting to get bored of them. I love the design Samsung has, and the clean customizable UI as well, compared to apple where it just seems basic and bland now.

Ever since i saw the new Samsung S22 and S22+, I’m no longer looking to any android phones because of it’s beautiful design and what it makes more beautiful is the chin. I also can't feel any different when using them and both feel just as fast as the other (unless ofcourse using them at the same time)
I just can't see myself ever paying over a $1000 for a phone ever again, because they are NEVER worth it imo.
I guess your step-dad hasn't turned on 120hz in his phone, because that makes a whole lot of difference compared to S10+
