I've done 3 shires on a Pegaso 650, and it wasn't actually too bad, I'd say easier than on the DR350 as it didn't get deflected as much. Same with Cumberland Cottage and Pindale. Only lane in the Peaks I never took my Pegaso on was Back Lane, which isn't an issue anymore..
Good fun that area... usually do it on the smaller bike, but a great challenge on the heavier beasts...
