@@namedrop721 Obviously.. and after all, music, even the most arcane, has global reach today, but it is still interesting that El Buho's music apparently resonates so much with people whose folklore and traditional music a lot of his influences emanate from, and that they feel it as something "authentic". Comparisons aren't so straightforward, but it is like someone from Mexico tapping into pre-modern folk tunes and ambient sounds from somewhere in Europe, creating something unique from it that people there then re-discover and enjoy in that way.
