I love how Craig’s smiling in his fight card picture. Constant troll
To paraphrase Craig. I mean... this is the most rediculous sport.
@@alpinebreed1774The only thing that is ridiculous is your ability to spell.
lmfao@@WtFGankalot
Shits old
also that he probably cut out his Silhoutte by himself or by some new intern, made me laugh 😂
looking forward to craig fighting someone who wants to do jiujitsu with him
You guys have much better commentary than flo thank so much for putting out such quality
I like how davis looks like a real fight pic and craig looks like he took his in his hotel bathroom right after waking up
What a bunch a nice guys. It’s so cute watching killers slap bump in the middle of the match
Imagine watching this whole 20 mins without skipping
zzzzzZZZZZ
Two most respectful guys I’ve seen in a match
I see amazing control and composure by Craig...😁👍💯
Craig has underrated stand up, but when it comes to a judge’s decision it’s not worth it to him to stand when getting taken down could lead to a judge seeing that as the defining factor. Because of this a lot of his matches end in guys just trying to stall him out from top
Great sportsmanship
That’s that picture you take in the morning because you look extra shredded 😂
love to see the good sportsmanship
Thank you for reinforcing negative stereotypes Davi
Which ones ?
Imagine entering a grappling match and not wanting to grapple.
Happens a lot when they're scared. A lot of Gordon's fights are like that, as well - they just don't engage, too scared.
Imagine entering a real fight and sitting down. If the scoring reflected a fight, certainly an MMA fight, Davi Ramos would have won convincingly.
@@julianfischer2341 Imagine entering a gun fight and trying to box. If the scoring reflected a real fight, i would destroy every ufc fighter.
@@julianfischer2341 yeah dude, and if Jon Jones was about to fight me, I'd just take out my glock - easy peasy. Nice argument you got there.
@@maciejradikowy9891Jon is strapped too and he probably has way faster reaction than you so good luck with that
I remember this match this was hilarious
Lol! I missed it. This is my first time watching this match. I agree. 😂
Very difficult to submit when one of the opponents is not truly engaging. "Avoid, negate, and run until time runs out..."
Both guys did the same thing over and over and over. Fucking sean brady best jones.
great fight
I’m the same age as Craig Jones 🤯🤯🤯
Jones and Lovato would be bonkers
Why do u even compete if u'r not trying to win? Ref ought to be giving penalties to Ramos for stalling.
Wrestlers do it every single day in every single gym during grappling classes. Shouldn't they be trying to pin their opponent to show their domination in the least?
So this is the match Craig was talking about on the podcast... I love polaris but the ref definitely should've put the pants on and tell Davi Ramos to sit the fuck down lmao
Get your volume levels right. Sheesh.
Merecido..!
Everyone turns into a track star against Jones
well hes one sided attack dont help him
play it in slo mo and the headbutt was clearly intentional
how the heck Davi Ramos fights at lightweight in MMA the guy is huge
He get ragdolled by lightweights. Islam put a beating on him.
I love Craig to death but i mean, blaming Davi Ramos is easy. Craig has been attempting the exact same attack sequence and Davi defending it the exact same way succesfully. This is just a 20min loop of that. What was Ramos suppose to do? something different? I would have really hoped tactically something else would have been attempted....
Pass the guard, get mount, and finish with a triangle.
Well shit Sean Brady shut down Craig’s game.
What is he supposed to do? Pass guard lol
Craig did nothing wrong, if his game plan was to work leg locks then that's fine. The problem is that Ramos did not even try to mount an offense of his own so that's completely on him. Craig shouldn't have to switch his game up just to give his opponent a chance to attack. Who would even do that?
“Disengaging Ramos” needs to be his new name
Craig Jones made the most of full guard
Craig is the goat
Why do they have to start by lying down???
Time to work on better setups and counters for stalling. Neither guy did a damn thing
Craig didn’t do much risk taking either. They both just canceled each other out
??? He was attacking, Ramos didn’t do a single offensive move so how could Craig even take a risk?
??? He was attacking, Ramos didn’t do a single offensive move so how could Craig even take a risk?
@@kevinjohnson6549how is he supposed to do an 'offensive move'? He needs to get past the legs first, which is what he was trying to do the whole time, without getting his legs snatched. They were both doing the exact same thing. Craig could have just stood up and tried something else, Ramos had no choice but try to get past the legs, how the hell was he stalling, what was he meant to do, give up his leg and scramble and hope for the best? Bjj rules are dumb as shit. One guy can sit to guard and you have to give him your leg or you're stalling?
@@Rujewitblood Passing the guard counts as an offensive move, there was legit only one actual guard pass attempted the whole fight. Craig was attacking sweeps and subs the entire time. You sound like a clown and don’t know bjj 🤷♂️
@@Rujewitblood. Yeah Craig should have stood up and have Ramos take him down with 2 seconds left and be declared the better grappler ( sarcasm).
JiuJitSu is a clean sport with no drug enhancement abuse.
50% of the time.
More like never
Davi is such a dynamic grappler, seeing him stall the whole time is disappointing.
I know, what a waste, its better to compete and go out and try and win instead of not losing. Its a losers attitude. And Davi is a world class competitor.
"""Mexican ground karate"""lol
Is craig still the champ or has he lost it?
How's many jiu jitsu organizations have "interlacing fingers with opponents" illegal??
Isn't this the Ramos that Machachev completely destroyed at 70 kg?
Craig is walking over 100 kg, and the best he can do is a decision. LoL. At least he has a career as a jester.
Get this man some track spikes and a singlet
Dude at 7:21 he is fully going down under
The commemtators are saying how ramos is playing defensive
Hes trying to pass towards the right of craig
So hes avoiding passing on craig left that was the back and forth since craig whole game is on his left thats why keeps his right leg high
Just like craig wouldn't play on his weak side ramos didnt want to play on his strong side
Stall-jitsu at it's finest. all thanks to IBJJF rules set.
@@jongrappler287 high level grapplers avoiding each other strengths
Max was here
That ref was garbola! The ref ruined the entire match.
Ramos ADV
Jones
Bro he kept running away why do Jiu jitsu if your not gonna roll
Craig should vary up his attack. Both guys did the same fbi f over and over.
no confidence in your game if you can't start from the bottom.. all that juice and still weak af
They need better announcers
People should lose points for breaking contact in a grappling match... Over 20 times!
One guy wants to fight the other is just running and scared. That’s what Gordon talks about. These “top”guys have very low technical levels.
Not if you appreciate wrestling and takedowns, and positional control as being integral to grappling.
@@julianfischer2341i love wrestling and jiu jitsu. But you have to engage and do jiu jitsu to not be afraid to exchange and commit to jiu jitsu.
@@julianfischer2341 Wrestling and takedowns are .001% of the fight. Might as well just skip it and get to the jiu jitsu.
@@julianfischer2341 There wasn't any positional control in this match. He got to half guard and couldn't get passed frames.
@@julianfischer2341where is their ability to at least pin? You know winning a wrestling match. It's like a boxer with 39 2 0 but doesn't have a single knock out. The guy who has 27 of his 39 wins in better for not playing games.
Buttscoot master
"number 2 shit" is in the past
This match was a couple years ago.
Davi is being trashed for defending K guard well???
More disengaging than defending
that was not k guard lol
More bitching about the reposition when he was clearly on the bottom. Weak shit
boom
Craig sitting after 3 mins of bullshit is classic
LOL they said Davis Ramos is 6ft1 in height hahahahah he is no were neat 6ft hahahahah hes 5ft8
I noticed that too hahaha
He's billed at 5ft6 in his UFC fights wtf
Well done Craig such a humble guy. Shame Ramos, complaining about the reset even if the replay shows you're still ignorant you boring grappler!!
What a boring match. Ramos didn't attack at all and Craig just laid in bottom half and tried to muscle the leg and get under him the entire time. The running away was bad, but also, what is he supposed to do when the only engagement he's getting is for the other guy to attack the same leg in the same way over and over again? There was an interesting commentary on the need for understanding the ruleset for matches like these, but I think that the ruleset is still so game-able that it negates the real essence of what Jiu Jitsu was meant for in the first place which was self-defense. I'm totally game with keeping strikes and stuff out of BJJ, but the ruleset should be designed around rewarding the player who maintains the position that would be most valuable in an actual fight. Without a shift to something like that, all we will ever get is butt-scooting.
Worst ref ever
The ref "I dunno any grappling. Stand them up"
People here complaining about Ramos not engaging, and then we have top BJJ guys like Ryan Hall and Kron Gracie goes to MMA and literally flop around like a dying fish.
BJJ people have a very wrapped and entitled perspective of what is fighting and what is grappling. Disengaging is just as big of a part of grappling as engaging. Technical standup is one of the very first thing taught to a BJJ newcomer. Many MMA champions spend like 90% of their grappling training time for TDD and standup, including Volk who was trained by Craig Jones.
The fact is in grappling, if you want to engage but can't keep your opponent engaged, you are ineffective.
It's not a fight when they can't hit each other. It's a match.
But scooting and grabbing feet
Go b team
Former islam opponent😂😂
And then, Ramos knew, it’s either this or never walk straight again.
Ramos said, fk Craig Jones, fk prize money 💰, and remained being a coward on steroids.
B-Team 👍🏻❤️
Judges decisions do not belong in martial arts and fight sports. I fucking hate that the winner of A FIGHT could be decided by anyone not in the fight.
Davi did not want to engage with Big Craig, didn’t want that smoke! 👃 🍺 🕰️
Craig laying on groubd doing nothing shows what trash craig is
Craig Joooooones 🇦🇺
This butt scooting is annoying. Keep thinking of an mma fight where someone would just knock their head off with a kick like in ONE
Yeah but that’s with a proper rule set. In ufc or unified rules you could breakdance and when the guy tries to kick your leg stake it on the head and you win.
@@oldironsides4107 lmao yeah
This recent leg locking butt scooting obsession is a disgrace in BJJ.
It wouldn't be a problem if the guy on top actually tried to pass. There are still plenty of very exciting matches with butt scooting
@@something3867 it's a martial art, gracie jujitsu, it's made for fighting, not lying down in front of your opponent like an overzealous whore.
Fight him then
It works
@@tkugsify there aren't that many successful leglockers in MMA, it is more like real combat not that butt sitting and giving blow jobs gayjitsu. Even paul harris gets knocked out all the time.
What about these commentators? We can see here how they "knows" bjj very well. To say a progression by pressure is not a kind of work, you can see how they understand well all kinds of jiu-jitsu. Tf
ramos, do something. what a waste of craigs time.
Weird how you can stay on your back the whole time, not submit, and win.?if this was based on combat..I don't think he won..avoiding his leg locks was a win for vadi.
Davi just stalled. Craig was far more active. Interesting you don't understand basic principles of bjj competition
Weak ref
boring match..pull guard, get to half, and spam the same entry over and over again. Davi didnt do anything either
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 bular idmancidi😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zzzzzzz
Davi literally did nothing lmao
That’s literally not true lmao
Islam makhachev son
Booooooooo-ooooring
Islam will kill this both guys
You think so? He already fought Ramos in the ufc and it went to a decision.
10-8 on every round is a not a decision, it's a one-sided beatdown.
@@kallepikku4991
That didn’t happen. Islam lost a round.
Lame
and they call it a 'fight' lol
Eita cara fraco Nam🤦🤦🤦 conheço muitos faixas brancas bem melhor!
Крайг заслужено, Рамос нытик.
Ngl, I blame refs for matches like this. So you got a guy who just doesn’t really want to be there? Okay, start putting penalties in place and watch the mfers compete. Unfortunately, a lot of refs, including this one, don’t have a pair.
Terrible match.
That was lame.
Craig did abaolutely bothing
No wonder Craig will never win ADCC. He does the exact same thing every time and expects it to work
Watched and I am still waiting for the fight to happen? BJJ is not fighting, you have control over the outcome by tapping. You can't tap to a shin or fist flying at your chin at full power. Stop calling a square a circle and be real.
Who cares
@@tkugsify these 'fighters' care enough to pretend to be one
@@user-qn6fw8fg4b i think they're just grappling for money, I doubt they get into the semantics of what is or isn't a fight
@@tkugsify sadly many of them do. i have been to quite a few bjj gyms around the world and a large percentage of the competitors themselves call their matches 'fights'....
