    @rough77 You call somebody a hero if he did something important. I don't like calling anybody a hero anyway. But if I had to (and I'm a racing fan) a racer would not come to my mind!

    Risking life for nothing? That's a moronic statement. These people risk their lives for LIVING, the same as any explorer, scientist, or anyone else that pushes themselves way outside of a comfort zone in the pursuit of something that expands both human and "mechanical" capabilities. A blind person going solo in a big city is no different - wake up and be supportive - who knows what great things might come of it.
