I have several testudo gen 2 carriers. They fit ok, I am just wondering how much larger the new Gen 3 large is. I am 6'4 260lbs. Just want to know if it is worth upgrading for size? I am happy with the gen 2, but larger might be better?
Hey man, Stephen here from the video. The new Testudo is awesome, however, if you are happy with the Gen 2, then I recommend getting the cummerbund quick release retrofit kit. It’s pretty sweet!
@@stephencortez6953thanks, I think I will upgrade to the gen 3. Both for the new quick release cummerbund and the larger plate carrier. I had a hard time getting the 11x14 into the gen2. So having the extra space will be nice. And I have a large family so the gen 2 will not go unused. Thanks for all you guys do, I wish I lived closer to Phoenix I would stop by and say hi.

Purchased in OD Green, I like it.. but the side plate pocket is too small for 6x6 or 6x8 level 4 ceramic plate.

Mmmm beg to differ. AR500 carriers are horrible
