Maybe my favorite band in the late 90s. I’ve learned to appreciate Green Day and Offspring later on, but they were way too commercial and mainstream when I was a teenager. I loved Quincy Punx, Blanks77, The Boils, Lillingtons and Teen Idols. Must have seen Teen Idols four or five times live
Holy shit! You found a live set with so many songs I've been looking for live. You get the like for finding the only Insantiy Plea from a live show. Cheers! edit: Test Tube Teens is in there too? Great find.
@@mxbray I feel like I missed out never getting a chance to see them live with Keith at the mic. I was set up to see them right before Phillip's accident. Huge bummer. I haven't heard anything after the medical fund was set up. I seriously hope the guy is doing well these days.
vodkamaru This vid for 20 Below says it was shot in 2014-15, so looks like Phillip's doing good. You could always ask Matt for an update. He plays drums for Less Than Jake now after tour managing for them for years.
if these guys/gal ever reunited it would be a hot show because I know a lot of people who discovered them later.... my first punk show ever was a less than Jake show. teen idols, new found glory and anti flag opened. it was the borders and bounderies tour. Matt the drummer is actually the current drummer for ltj
@@seane1984 For sure. This band has a special place in my heart forever. Cause when my first band played our first proper show, was opening at the Centro Bella's Arte's in Fresno CA. In 2000 yeah man I'm old
No, Keith sang on the s/t '97 album and left after 2000's Full Leather Jacket. This is Kevin. He sang on 2003's Nothing to Prove and then in Bullets to Broadway with Matt and Heather from Teen Idols.
21:20 :) 20 below! best song
Some them in a basement of a frat house in State College, PA in early 1998. So awesome. First album was my favorite of the catalog.
Wow! I didn't know this existed! Thanks for posting!
Freakin miss the band!! Any chance of future Teen Idols? Here's to wishing....
I'm from Germany and had the oppertunity to see them live only one time.😢
Love them.
AMAZING!
Was at the Charleroi, PA show just a few nights after this one. So cool to see this surface on YT!
Hey Mikey, I never did thank you for this! I think it was the only show I didn't get to see in our area.
damn! so rad!

FCK Green Day and the rest, not an ounce of punk in those comfortable dorks.
They’re awesome. Full leather jacket was one of the first punk albums I ever got

vodkamaru yeah, I was at this show and recorded it. Wish I would've taped more shows with Keith singing.

Is that the same singer on the Teen Idols album with Porno Shop on it?
