For those that haven’t been to Magic Kingdom, there is a hub called the ticket and transportation center or TCC. To get to the front of the magic kingdom from the TCC, you must either take the monorail or the ferry boat. So the driver and the Uber people had to go through the TCC. Having to queue up to take the monorail or the lovely, but fairly slow ferry, boat adds a significant amount of time. If you take a Disney resort bus, then you are dropped off at the entrance of Magic Kingdom and can skip the TCC. Parking at the contemporary or the contemporary DVC property is not actually a good plan. They do monitor the parking lot there. From the hundreds of times that we have tried to get to rope Drop, I would say that assuming the monorail was up and going is the biggest issue.
Great video guys. I feel like alot of families don't know that if you rock rope drop you can get in 4 to 5 extra rides for the day. My family at Disney lives and dies by rope drop and fast pass lol.
@@kpstardust8974 That’s a good question, because when you get there really early you still have to wait. The real benefit is how fast you can get on that first ride, because that will determine how many rides you can get through before the big crowds get there. If you hit the most popular ride first and your one of the first people on it, you’ll get to your second and third rides easier because most people will be waiting in line at the most popular ride. I hope that made sense.
We haven’t tried that, so we’ll definitely have to see if that still works. I would imagine that they would let you through since your not parking a car in there lot taking up space.
How early can I be at toll plaza of Magic kingdom where I pay for parking...You said you could do that 7.38AM is that because you have early pass or you were in disney property hotel?..I heard they generally don't allow at 7.38Am and ask them to go back....please reply...We will be driving next week and we don't have early acesss
We don’t always park at the TTC because we usually use faster methods to get in. But, they do let everyone in at the front entrance to the park. If your not a resort guest there are certain areas you can’t go, but you will be in the park. I’m assuming that’s the same for the toll plaza. But, they might stop you because they always scan our Magic bands and can see that we’re staying on property. We’ve never been turned away, but I can’t promise you that they won’t. One method we’ve used in the past is that went to the Grand Floridian and asked if we could park there. They said no, but we could pay for valet parking there, so that’s what we did. It’s a short monorail, or boat ride from there. You could try that, or just play it safe and go to the toll plaza at 8am. I hope that helps. Have a wonderful time at Disney World.
It really depends on when you board the ferry boat. It holds a lot of people, so if you catch it once it’s full and you still get on your wait will be shorter because the boat will be leaving soon. If you’re one of the first ones on you’ll be waiting longer. The ride itself isn’t to long. It’s a beautiful ride across the lake which takes about 10 minutes. It’ll take you to the front of the park, where the lines can be long. But, it doesn’t take long from there to get into the Magic Kingdom. Have fun!
They just let you park at Bay Lake if you tell them you're resort hopping? I thought you need a confirmed dining reservation to park anywhere at Contemporary 🤨
They just took a chance and the guard let them in. It probably depends on the guard there. We do resort hop a lot, and some of the resorts will let you in to take a look. We’re DVC members, so it might be a little easier for us.
You’ll have a hard time getting in with your car without a reservation. The best thing is to take an Uber in to Baylake tower and then walk over to the Magic Kingdom from there.
Do not lie to the guards to try and park at another resort! They may not let you in anyway. Usually, only resort guests or people with dining reservations can park at the resorts. Its totally scummy to do that!
The fastest route that doesn’t go against Disney policy (but is also most expensive) is a Minnie Van. At Magic Kingdom, Minnie Vans drop you off where the buses drop you off.
Good question! It really depends on your timing. Sometimes the ferry can be faster, but most of the time the monorail is the best route. We did a race getting out of Magic Kingdom, so can give you an idea of how much faster it can be. th-cam.com/video/7yn_imavmsU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bzzDeSQfwpbrY-mB
How you get to lakebay tower? Is there a entry time limit? I’m a all star resort guest and I appreciate any additional insight. Love the video, very helpful!

This is such an underappreciated video! I love the idea of timing the different options.

Same!
This is perfect! Was just debating if staying at Old Key West was going to work for the fastest rope dropping into Magic Kingdom. ❤
Great video. And thanks for reinforcing why we stay at Bay Lake Tower!
Great information. This helps a lot. I hate when we get there to late and have to wait in the long lines.
this was such a helpful video! thank you! i've been trying to figure out the best way!!!
I’m glad it was helpful. Thank you for watching.
I loved this video. Really helpful
Thank you! We’re happy it was helpful to you.
Good video, fun 🤩
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you!
Great video and great info
I’m honestly asking is there a benefit to getting to the park an hour early vs standing in a ride line for an hour?
@@kpstardust8974 That’s a good question, because when you get there really early you still have to wait. The fastest would be to take Uber/taxi, etc. to the sidewalk to Magic Kindom near Bay Lake/Contemporary.
Do they need to pay for parking at the BayLake Tower Hotel?
Can you still Uber to the Grand Floridian or The Contemporary? Because we did that before and it takes you to right in front of the park
We haven’t tried that, so we’ll definitely have to see if that still works. I would imagine that they would let you through since your not parking a car in there lot taking up space.
Another option is paying for the Lyft Minnie Van, they also take you right to the front of the park.
Yes, that’s a great idea. We’re trying to be the first people in line in Magic Kingdom, so that route is definitely one we’ll try. Thanks
Thank you brother 🙏
Very thorough
Awesome
thank you for the video. what brand of the microfon are you wearing on the t-shirt?

Exactly. This was a one off stroke of luck
could you uber to Bay lake tower and then do the walk over?
We haven’t tried that. They will probably ask you if you have reservations to be there at Baylake. It’s worth a try though.
@@nashdisneyexplorers6874why not just say you’re resort hopping like your team did?
all of Disney rides will also be having test run then they will be opening at 10;30am plus the lines will also open by that time.
Hey Nash, i was just wondering to park at Bay Lake tower, can guests with no reservations park at this hotel? THanks

Thank you!
Could we Uber to Baylake Tower and then walk to the entry?
I would also like to know the answer to this?
Buses start early. Just got back. We had no problem rope dropping.@@rachaelsafran2629
@@shiningbrightinsecond what time do the buses start?
the time will be of having the front gate to be open by 7;30 am folowing to also having our Disney monorail open by the same time at 7;30 am .

the front entreace in magic kingdom should ,must be removed towards facing the mail parking lot
Typically how much faster is the monorail than the ferry?

9:19; and they say "Go Woke, Go Broke"; Disney World's far from going broke anytime soon
Was the bus available at the TTC?
I believe on.y the ferry boats were available before 8am

So basically they lied to park at bay lake. Real role models
Thanks for the comment. We went to all the resorts later, so no, we didn’t lie. It’s a lot of fun to resort hop.
@@nashdisneyexplorers6874no, they definitely misled the security guard
