I was watching live and quite a few of us in the stream have our own JJ and watching Larry broke us all. That child went through literal hell weeks before they murdered him and to lose justice on a TYPO had us all in tears.
LOVE Lauren and Dr John @ Hidden True Crime. They have such a great insight into the Daybell case. She’s a journalist and him a psychiatrist….what an awesome combo. ❤

Oh, man! I was a paralegal for nearly 30 years, and I developed an Eagle eye for details, it's not an ego thing but I got very good at proofreading. Dates and case citations must be tripled checked! Thank God, this typo didn't ruin justice for JJ 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ditto. Ex-Paralegal here. And I always had a second set of eyes check my pleadings. Always.
I was a proofreader in the publishing world, before spellcheck. That feature has ruined accuracy in publishing across the board.
I work in marketing now and even after a job passes the second eye check, the client sometimes finds a mistake. It’s bad enough in the advertising world, but in the legal world it can involve life and death.
@@MelodieKate Same here. Can't rely on spellcheck either. It doesn't catch all errors. Having a second person's set of eyes is important because our eyes don't always catch what we type. All I can say is proofreading is supremely important‼️

That was the longest 2½+ hours of my life. We were all praying that the prosecution could find a reason for Judge Boyce not to have to dismiss the charges for murder for JJ.
My heart dropped for the victim’s families, LOE and the Prosecutors.
This judge is amazing. Justice will be served cold to CD for his mental ways.

Some of the rulings he made in Lori’s trial got me hot and bothered and thinking he was so against the state, up until her sentencing and even 10 minutes into it, I was so mad UNTIL he started slamming her into the wall!! ❤❤

It was Melanise's 2 kids and JJ Chad and Lori wanted to inflict pain on....a 3 year old ! Melaniese believed her kids were zombies! She is also evil!
All because a three year old wrote a ttt on a wall ! normally you grab a paper towel and a spray cleaner like 409 or similar but this kid was almost horrifically murdered over it .
She should be charged with conspiracy to kill her husband!

I thank God for answered prayers. Worse case scenario would have been Tylee protecting her baby brother one last time. And though Kay and Larry and the rest of us would have been devastated. They could take comfort knowing that if it wasn’t for JJ we wouldn’t be where we are today. As it was JJ, Kay and Larry who got the ball rolling. I know Charles was holding them along with Tammy supporting us from the other side.

Yes, it was Lauren Matthias from Hidden True Crime, that was was sitting next to Larry on a bench outside the courthouse, following his comments to the media. She is close to Larry and Kay, and talked with him for a few minutes on camera, as everybody was grappling with the error we had all just learned about.
I’m so thankful things turned out as they did. Watching the whole thing unfold, and seeing Larry looking so broken and defeated, was heartbreaking. There were a lot of prayers going up that justice for JJ would not be tossed out the window. So thankful they were answered. 🙏🏻
You know, I totally think you are right! I think Prior caught this mistake and was going to pull this out of his hat soon! I also think Priors fingerprints are all over that fiasco with the random lawyer coming forward and trying to delay this case. Judge was furious! I personally think Prior is a dirty player.
I guess Cad Dumbbell isn't as omnipotent as he likes everyone to believe....God was looking out for JJ today. RIPP sweet JJ

I have the utmost respect for Judge Boyce. If he had not picked up on this, the slug may have slithered away free. I was devastated, but I comforted myself with the thought that all the other charges would stick, and either way, Chad was going down! But I think we all wanted to see justice for ALL the victims. I want to see justice for Charles Vallow, too!
Denise, Thank you for this comment 🙏🏻 Chad wouldn't have gone free, but the charge for Murder of JJ would have been thrown out! That would have been an outrage! Thankfully, Judge Boyce caught it, and the ruling was favorable. JUSTICEFORJJ
Gawd forbid that happens in Kohburger trial. Somehow, we have to keep those kids on the for front. Can’t let someone get away with that on a technicality, I’m feeling worried?

Judge Boyce is a great example of how a court should be run
Right from the beginning all of the law enforcement, detectives and FBI did some of the best work I have seen on a case and this is a small force, a small area. So no excuses to for other small areas!!! It’s not the size of the town but the quality law enforcement employees Rexburg has!! I have been able to listen today and most days off and on at work with AirPods in. I too was petrified at what happened in court and waited on pins and needles yesterday.
Was on east Idaho when you were in the chat during the recess. It was great how you gave your opinions and kept a lot of calm with your comments. It great to see how all the community’s come together to support one another ❤.

Who in the world does not review every single thing on these court papers before they send them out!?! Its the biggest pet peeve of mine to see typos on every day items but it is imperative to have no mistakes and these papers!! It makes no sense not to review these inside and out multiple times to multiple pairs of eyes to make sure everything is correct and this is proof why. I'm subscribed I love your channel!!!❤

I accept and respect the duty of a defense lawyer and hope if I ever need one, they are tenacious. They are doing their job, period. HOWEVER, openly giggling over the state's mistake is totally inappropriate. Very unprofessional. Those who disliked Prior before, have yet another reason to toss him in the trash lawyer can now.

I am in absolute disbelief they did not check dates on an Indictment. I can see a typo on a word no one catches but this! I deal with Indictments, Affidavits, Complaints, and never have I ever seen something as important as the dates wrong like this. The Indictment should have been reviewed with a fine tooth comb. Thank goodness the Judge was able to rule as he did. The prosecution messed up big time here, I'm still shocked. Daybell is guilty AF and it would have been a shame if the counts regarding JJ were dismissed.

Watching the replay - I also subscribe to John & Lauren’s Hidden True Crime (she’s been doing a lunch lives) after Special Agent Hart’s AWESOME testimony the prosecution rested! That’s when Lauren who had Larry Woodcock stunned by what Judge Boyce announced regarding the error brought to his attention by Prior (of all people) Kay & Larry need closer for the murder of JJ!
