0:35 "many math professors who are too genius to teach" absolute golden words, ive suffered alot because of this
Yeah can we talk about that please. I think the whole academic system with teaching down is definetly useful on the other hand its stupid. They never learned how to tech. I cant explain fractions to 5 graders, why should a college professor be able to explain idk differential equations to me?
I dont go to maths lectures at all anymore, because there is a thing at my uni, where people from higher semesters explain the stuff to me. And they get, why i dont get it, and ever since i did that maths became as easy as it was in school again.
meh, most suffer the opposite
That 1 Hour reference seemed so much helpful. 30 min practice, 20 min learning + examples and 10 min for definition. I definitely will try this so i can manage my time more efficiently and practice which will make me sharp. within those 30 min. 10-30 ques hmmm a challenge. btw Thanks for the video. I saw your video of 7500 hours maths studying and what you learnt, I subscribed immediately. Thank you
❤️❤️
i agree with you i think i have a problem where i tend to learn fast in classes and mostly get the concept but when i get home i am lazy and tend to forget the lecture/tutorial contents......wwhat can i do about being lazy???
You are just drained, not lazy. Try to sleep for some hours or sit in nature for some minutes or try to solve questions outside (i mean, at the terrace, garden where you get enough sunlight) this will increase dopamine and you will be fired up to do something rather than feel lazy@@user-yj6qu5ox3m
Honestly I'm not a pro, but something that's been helping me quite a lot is just sitting at my desk, setting a timer of a short duration and then I just START. No matter how I'm feeling. And it's so good because you can get so much done in short bursts of focus and then be actually FREE to do other things ( exercise, practice a hobby, etc ) without feeling guilty or stressed. Feeling stressed and not enjoying things that are supposed to be enjoyed because you didn't get done the high priorities is the worst, at least to me😅 @@user-yj6qu5ox3m
OMG SHREYA I found you here!!!!! love youu
it's only 6:30 am and han has already made my day
❤️
@@hanzhango ur channel is a model for mine :)
Thanks Han! I’m struggling with math. I thought of practising it but kept on procrastinating. Im so scared of trying. Thanks for the video.
Love you ❤
I appreciate how straightforward this video was 🖤
You are amazing!
I'm a first year doing compsci, maths, and prob. So grateful for this video🎉and how smart, simple and relatable your methods are❤
I'm myself a math student. After 3 years of hard working I recently found myself stuck with my work. I always wanted to see that kind of video. Thank you !
All math learning is self-study, even if you have an amazing math teacher. You need to feel the math to learn it, and that only happens when you read each page in your textbook, repeat the definitions in your mind, memorize what needs to be memorized, and practice, practice, practice. The same for all technical subjects in engineering and science.
Hi Han, my 13yr old is struggling with Maths. I’m going to help him study so you have given me a strong framework to use. Hopefully he’ll improve his confidence in Maths! Thank you👍
Thanks a lot for this video it explains the process smoothly and makes it easier to grasp the theorems
❤❤ appreciated a lot
Good Luck with your channel
Having really bad time doing math these days. I can already feel getting better after the video ❤❤
You got this❤️
Thank you han needed that ❤❤@@hanzhango
Gonna try them out. Ty for the tips and advices
I just watched your video and it was very help for me, please keep making of videos, eventually it'll be very helpful and give a lots of hope for who really want to be a self-taught-mathematician. Thank you so much. love from India.
This video really helped me especialy for exam season Thank you so much !
I was so much tensed about my maths subject but i got see your video while scrolling youtube shorts ...
And there i got you as a great maths tutor..
Thank you so much and i have already started studying as you said ... And see what its great
I much better than earlier with confidence...
Thank you😊
Thank you for this great video!
Love the candor! Nice.
student who are preparing for IIT JEE know how helpful this video is as we all know how hard questions they are for high school(and is you dont know about IIT JEE maths problems you are really missing something as a math nerd)
no math nerd is missing nothing by not knowing what sort of problems you guys deal with. I don't think anybody cares lol we have better challenging questions in all over the world
Hey, Ms Han!
I'm Shenba from India, in 11th grade currently... I've been following you for almost 3 months. All I wanna let you know is I've improved so much since day 1 ( I came across your video ) and you're awesome ❤ Thank you! ❤
omg that's awesome! So proud of you!❤❤

Excellent commentary and information 👏 👌🏾
Brilliant tips. I too love to use condensed cheat sheets as a way to both reinforce main ideas and as a reference source.
Thank you so much for inspiring me towards maths❤
Thank u for the tips ❤
The 1 hour practice is so helpful!! I am taking my SAT in 3 weeks and I have not studied at all. I will do 3 hours a day until then using your advice, and hopefully I will get a good score 🤞🏾
Good luck on ur SATs and could u pls update ur results too?
The moment I saw your video I got a hope that I will get good grade in maths 💕thank you 💕💕 subscribed
Thanks for the advices ❤😊
Thank you so much for these Math help videos, I used to get good grades for math until highschool, I actually started online schooling when I started highschool and I didnt understand the basics that were taught at first so my math grades keep dropping....
again Thank you for these tips, Im looking forward to trying them all out soon.
WOW! I feel encouraged to learn math after watching this video!
Han, you continue to inspire your subscribers :)
Lots of love🫶
It is very helpful to see math video from you
Wow, our paths are so similar! I graduated from Cornell with an Operations Research major, but I took the self-study programming route rather than the self-study math route. Very cool! 😄🤗
Great vid🎉
thanks a lot! have to study for the ap calc bc, ap physics c's, and ap stats exams on my own so this will definitely be very useful!
Love you Han
Lots of love❤
Ni hao ! Iam from India and you really inspire me to learn maths easily thank you so ooooooooooooooo much.
I always come back to watch this video when I have a quiz or test. Already watched like 4 times 😮😊
I will start using your tips today I hope it will help me calculate
Thanks for video 💗
Studying math is hard for many, but it’s rewarding ❤
Its really helpful ... Thnx
Thank you ❤
Thanks!
Rewriting maths end of this year so that i can go to university for bcomCA, thanks for the tips, ill surely use them
thanky you for sharing your studying method. definitions, exaples, knowledge Gap, practice. I want to add one thing. your channel.
Words can't explain how much u have helped so far in my uni exams
I even fell in love with math because of your videos
I love your passion for math
Thank you so much & I hope it all comes back to u💜
I love doing math sm but I had to choose an Engineering major. So, I could only learn Calculus and engineering mathematics. Now seeing your works inspired me. Probably, I'll self-study more other Fields of Mathematics.
Thank u🎉🎉🎉

Keep posting. 🎉 useful stuffs 6:11
4:31 These are good tips. They have published mathematics dictionaries. They are a nice reference tool.
I have learnt math in junior high school and college I realised that there's not really a lot of usage when it comes to math in the workplace unless you're doing research work
True that ... They've made math complicated by adding metsphysics into it.
I've my mathematics exam in a few days ...... I was having a very hard time studying math but after watching all your math videos i think im gonna get better
Thank you so much Han ❤
Keep making videos and motivate us to study well💗
Love you ❤❤
You got this! Best of luck!!❤️
Well I took a enriched linear algebra course that thought I could breeze through despite for example barely made a gr 12 math course which was barely a passing grade. Which was 18 years ago. That enriched math course and a physics course are the two stuck with me mostly. Because it challenged the idea of abstract thinking in a computational and universal sense.
I enjoy this video very much then
sounds good,,,hope it will work....
First ! Tysm for posting ! May i have your ouns btw lol, your vids have helped me in the past a lot ❤
Very good
BOMB
thank you I have 1 hour before exams. hopefully this will help. 😁
I failed at my math exam this year and being an excellent student at other subjects while failing at this, honestly, felt the worse T_T Now, ive got my final math exam coming on the 6th and tbh im abit terrified however, im looking forward to doing better this time!!
Fighting!!

Exhilarating video as always bdw How much time it goes in for editing?
Roughly 15hours per video:)
@@hanzhangodamn! Thanks
Hi, Han! Do you happen to offer focused learning class? Interested to incorporate the skills you have and share, to be a better learner 😊
Sensacional!
I'm not educated. I find this helpful for my self-studying.
i've been using kahn academy to relearn ap calculus and ap statistics, i got a bs in math in 1981.
I'm nowhere near as far as she is but what works for me is similar to her setup. I use two e-ink tablets. One for the book and another one as scratch paper.
I’m doing an online math degree, I’ve taught myself undergrad abstract algebra and analysis. Proofs and writing math is the toughest thing I’ve done ever. I’m so proud of myself, but feel so dissatisfied bc I don’t have a peeer group that I can bounce ideas of off
Ultimately all learning is via self study
For pure maths, I usually read the same material multiple times, from skimming to know what the math is all about, the general ideas, then again, focusing on definitions, examples and theorems, trying to understand the realm, possibly drawing some pictures, then again focusing on the proofs: skimming to get the main strategy of the proof, the steps needed, and finally getting to understand the details. It's important to check other references/internet to get the right understanding/calculations. After all of that, at a last time and write down everything without looking at the material. For pure mathematicians, the proofs are really important, sometimes even more than the result...there's where the gold is to use to solve real problems.
watching this because I want to double major in computer engineering and math ❤
And what to do if there are no examples, rather definition --> proof of definion --> calculate task with some creativity --> proof tasks --> transfer tasks ? Like I only got definition and its proof, and the rest must come from my side
Please upload integration and discreet mathematics
Very interesting approach
What do you do when you hit a plateau
The understanding is there but something is missing
The sound is heavily mixed towards the left speaker (almost thought it was a mono left mix).
Nothing that is noticeable directly from a phone's speaker, but for those of us with with headphones or monitors.
1st Order Derivative Linear Differential Equation you mean specifically
How do you handle mathematical proofs? You only learn applied math via definitions & examples of solved problems but pure math is totally different?
How do you deal when the subject you are studying does not have that many exercises/examples and the teacher also does not give any?
For instance I am currently struggling with Statistical Mechanics because our teacher solely focuses on the theory but does not give us any practice questions.
Which book is that at 1:50?
Edit- It is
A First Course in Differential Equations with Applications
Textbook by Dennis G. Zill
Thanks
Do you have some advice on research mathematics?
Can you do some math videos?
Thank you for your knowledge sharing. Would you say the book you referenced in your video is a good fit to Machine Learning math? If not, could you recommend a book you prefer? RE: "A First Course in Differential Equations with Modeling Applications". [11E] Dennis G. Zill. Thank you.

I ve failed my second semester I hope to pass these time😊
good luckkk, u will :))
i can't use multiple exams in ur notion template when are u gonna show us how to fix it
Did you had any relationship during University days, did you get time to spend time in those ?
❤❤
Have you taken the qualifying exams? Do you have any advice for passing?

What is the online source she used with the example?
problem is I'm trying to self-study Analysis I, and i can't get anywhere
help
my problem is i can understand math but can never understand what the questions are asking. i really dont know what to do and i really need help. my math final is on march 18💔
Would be nicer to learn about how you tackle more difficult subject like topology or measure theory by yourself self-study style than things like calculus or differential equations. Because textbooks for more difficult subjects with heavy proofs don't really have that many examples or exercises.
❤
beauty & the brain in one person.
Great
That's my way of studying before high school it's ironic i changed it for my teacher 😢
Hii Han , i am from India . your videos are best🤟👌 and you are so cute ❤ good vibes
Lots of love🫶
If you had to guess, how many hours outside of class would you spend studying every week whilst going through your math major?
Hi HAN,
So we are having 11 hours school can i.e 8:00am to 7:00pm can u pls give tips
What is the name of that Linear Equations book?
ma'am suggest me the best way to actually solve a question based on a formula but twisted.. T_T
