To be exact, the absolute bench press record is 51 repetitions, still held by Justin Ernest. He put up the record in 1999 but never played a snap in the NFL. Paea's 49 reps are the most for a player to actually have an NFL career (2011-2017).
Just want to acknowledge that the 300 pound guy at the end did a really good job. I seriously thought the big men were a lot slower than that. After watching all these thoroughbreds, I think it's kind of mean to show the "slowest". Good work buddy.

Dark Ascent CoC the bench press at the combine is more so a test of endurance than it is strength. Yea the reps aren’t competitive lifting standards but they’re still about 90% of the ROM (without locking out) and ridiculously impressive. That’s why the NFL is more lax on what counts as a rep
Strength makes 225 feel light, endurance allows for high repetitions with a light way. No matter how much endurance you have, you can't bench something that feels too heavy for very high reps.
