Most latter day Michael Jackson fans have NO IDEA how great the Jackson 5 group was. The J5 were a national institution, especially for young black kids. You would have had to have been there to really know this. The Jacksons were the first black young people we ever saw on television. For us, they were a 5 man revolution.
