NOT WEARING A MOUTH GUARD???? isn't it mandatory when competing? Ur gonna have a bad time trying to adjust to using mouth guard while competing. I always used a cup and mouth guard. mouth guard i put on after warm up, but cup from the beginning, so i got used to them and they never bothered me. U can still see people all the way in UFC not used to having mouth guard and having bad time while fighting.
Yo I’ve been playing this game 3 weeks and I just get bullied off it every day. As soon as they see I’m bad they either start cheesing or emoting or spamming quick chat at the end of the match. I can only play stand and bang cos I have terrible reaction time, have no idea how to read transitions (to get denials) and my tv has like 300ms input delay or something. Also how come in div 1 there’s tons of dudes that have the goat achievement for the max difficulty when I can’t even beat a pro ai
I only get to play every now and then (got a kid), and for some, it takes awhile. This is unlike any other fighting game I have played, and with all its flaws, i still love it. (GRound is meh, but learning it slowly). I feel its a combination of eye/hand coordination (which everyone is different, but can be improved), ability to deform your hand for body combos, and watching a guy like Henry here, or Romero etc. After over a year of casual play, i am still learning stuff and am aware of so much I still do not know. Like a few weeks ago, i did not know there was a difference in power/speed of punches when planted and striking while moving. I was always frustrated when I was trying to counter but I felt so slow while the slower statted comp was beating me to the punch. Watching Henry, i heard the term plant and throw, and he explained it one day. Im like, ooooooooooh. Suddenly my game improved a lot just from that. From playing footsies, to when to pressure, from effectively mixing up body and head shots, and so many other minor things that make big differences. Also started working on head movement and slip counters which are a bit tough for me, but again, ive improved. Started at normal level, beat hard level easily after a time then PRO was kicking my ass a bit and now as long as I stay composed, PRO isnt too bad and can handle legendary to a degree. Keep watching, these top creators are good to learn from.
