  • It is always amazing to spend time in the company of globally renowned ONE Championship signed super taent, Lumpinee Champion, Rajadamnern Champion and all round legend of the game Nong-O Gaiyanghadao 🤯😍
    Here, in this clip I filmed at a seminar he ran last year at the brilliant All Powers GYM in Stockport, he goes over some details on one way he likes to sweep those that use the push kick a lot against him whilst sparring or fighting. Pure 🔥🔥 for your viewing pleasure!!
    As it happens, Nong-O is now back in the UK ahead of his upcoming national seminar tour in concjunction with the equally phenomenal Yoddecha Sityodtong that kicks off this coming weekend!
    Check out their social media and website at www.yoddechasityodtong.com for further details and to grab a space for yourself! Trust me, you won't want to miss this duo in action together 🥋🤯🔥😍

      muay thai techniques are not simple at all. There are so many technique variations in muay thai. Yes they are effective for kicking your opponent ass but not simple. Boxing is the simpliest techniques

    I train kickboxing and want to switch to Muay Thai but I hate the bad posture it gives you. That’s literally the only thing stopping me.

      @HeathenRides ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just do it i regret not switching before I should have done right when stagnation started but I felt so comfortable with just continuing when I finally did switch i experienced the same fun i had being a child switching from Tae kwon do to kickboxing all over again. You absolutely do it its not giving a bad anything it's just a myth old kb instructor's spreading even if it was true it still be worth it because it's fun

      Train wrestling instead of muay thai. You already have striking skills in your arsenal. Time to add some grappling skills.

      It sure ain't gay. I'm a judo guy myself. However, one of my mates is a wrestling coach, and grappling is hard dude. It's one of the most tiring aspects of fighting, just ask any mma fighter.

    why does this almost never happen in mma fights?

    • @elwood4965
      @elwood4965 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because it makes them too vunerable for take downs

    • @chrisgriffin5383
      @chrisgriffin5383 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say because most fighters would opt for the straight right hand to the head instead of sweeping. All that will do in a tai ring is reset the fight, in a mma cage take the fight to ground, but the available straight right could end it, take it to the ground, or set up further punches. I might use if I was defending myself outside on concrete as going down hard on the street hurts plus if your actually in danger you can soccer them from there. Anyway, I think the open right is the better option especially as even if their guard is up your turning them slightly too their right so you could aim for just above the ear. That's my opinion, all the best🙂
