    I’m going to try this with my 4c Hair. I think I might need to say a prayer before starting lol

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  6 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      She's not 4c but her hair is very very thick. I've also done this on my hair as well as a ton of my natural clients. If you've seen my other hair tutorials, you know I am 4c as well. Just be sure to moisturize well so that the hair has a lot of slip and less frizz. I use 2 to 3 times more jam when I braid my own hair vs hers.

    Very professional! Love the look! Yes baby yes! I’m going to watch a few more times before I try. Thanks for the tip on not burning the clients hair and drying it out. So my hair stylist are burning my hair. I use to go up as far as I could on my baby. I’m going to tell them not to dip my hair to far up. I learned something new today; midway up. Also, when you care about your clients you blow dry their hair and not send them out wet. I appreciate you dearly. Wish me wishes not luck! See you soon! You rock thanks a bunch!

    Yes!! The correct way to do feed ins. You gotta start with the person's hair first! Ugh I get so frustrated with those that use hair to start. 😫

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I must say it depends on the clients hair type and texture. If their hair is too then, I will sometimes start with weave as well. She just happened to have a head full of hair

    Instructions are definitely very well said and demonstrated- thanks a lot!!!!

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Don't be afraid. Go for it. If she's only 8, try cutting the hair in half, then in half again (4 sections) so it won't be so long. It'll be very convenient and kid friendly. Thanks for the support.

    Thanks soooo much for being so detailed this helps a lot for my daughter's hair. Few questions, I pray you're able to respond.... First do you have any videos to prep the hair, like wash conditioning etc. ? My daughter has 4c or may be worse and I fear I may be doing too much prior to braiding bc the Jam and Edge control ends up turning white.
    2nd question you say when you split your packs of hair b4 braiding you make them all the same size, however when you started the braid on the other side your sections seemed to be smaller than those you had already divided. Hope that makes sense. Also do you have a tutorial on the smaller braids in between? Thanks so so much in advance for your time.

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes ma’am I understand. I can try to do a video on how to prep the hair, but the main detail is to have it as clean as possible. Any type of oil, grease, or other product will cause edge control to turn white. Also when I press room that’s just to give me an idea of the shape and size of the braid. Many times you will have to make some smaller or bigger once you actually start braiding to even them out. I think the hair is 84 inches before cutting. But now we buy prestretched hair the length that they want.

    Does that hurt the head?? It looks like the braids are tight! I like the scarf because I like the colors. Reminds me of my colored pencils.

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's not tight at all. I do as least pulling as possible; especially if their hair is already long

      Mz. VerZaTile I am truly sorry about losing your mom! The sting of death affects us all. However, the bible offers mankind the glorious hope of seeing those we've lost again. May you and your family find comfort from this scripture. Please accept my condolence.
      Acts 24:15
      And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

    Also can you tell me how many pieces I should have from a pack of hair?

    • @MzVerZaTile
      @MzVerZaTile  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I can’t. The size of the pieces depends on the thickness of the clients hair and the size of their head. So one pack may do three braids on one person’s hair, but it may do 5 on another. You just have to get a feel for it.
