I have bought and used a few of these yarns. I used it in a Chevron lapghan and love the various texture changes. I'm happy to have found you on TH-cam.
You ordered some pretty colors. I may have to get some to try. I don't mind using two strands together as I've actually held 4 strands together for a blanket years ago and my son loves it still. Thanks for this review.

Hi I've been working a blanket with this yarn for about a week and I like it! There are some areas more loosely wound but with my 6mm hook I don't have much splitting issues. The center pull is lovely! No yarn barf at all. And also I haven't come across knots in almost 1k yards of work. The different ribbon colors make the blanket interesting and unusual looking. So I agree...2👍🏻👍🏻up!

Thank you for your review on this yarn. I just left Joann and i happened to see this in a bin not on shelves yet and i almost bought 8 balls. I stopped myself and said let me go home and watch a few reviews on this yarn before I make a purchase. I was considering making throw blankets or triangle shawls similar to the one you are wearing with it.
I just made a wrap and a chemo cap for a friend with Iris Ribbon. I was pleased with how they turned out

I used the mustard ribbon for sunburst granny squares. It added such a beautiful texture
Juan. .My friends laugh at me..I always have 2 balls of yarn n my tote one for knitting n the other for crochet..I use them on the bus n train rides n sitting on a park bench n I also carry my oldies music..I feel lost if I don't like not having on my watch..junkie to music n knitting n crocheting God bless you n Mom

juan, i love your channel. imo, you actually appreciate, care abt, n value your fans, unlike crystal.
I’m a weaver as well as a crocheter so I appreciate your reviews. I doubt I would use it to warp (the long way) my loom, but the actual weaving this would be gorgeous. My crocheting is usually making things I “see” and not so much using the patterns. I like the fact you can identify color differences (your face with the pink yarn with orange and white was precious). BTW NEVER play poker, your feelings are on your sleeves!
The pink yarn (can’t remember the name, I think violet-NOT) with the orange and white was the only one I could actually see the lace weight ribbon. Glad you got that color even if you aren’t a fan of pink. The contrast made it much easier to see on camera.
Just found your channel, and love your previews and reviews. As I mentioned I also weave and having a review on yarns is a real bonus.

Hi Juan! Thank you for reviewing this yarn! I love Caron yarns so I look forward to trying it. I think it’s weird that someone would question why you buy the different colors. Why do they care?! I appreciate you going to that expense and I agree that different colorways sometimes feel different. Anyhoo, thanks again and congrats on 20k!!! 🎉😊
The really cool thing about polyester fiber performance is that the colors are stable, not fading even in bleach water. I know this with experience using polyester shirts in swimming pools.

I’m glad to see these new additions to the Caron Jumbo line. I’m a big fan of Caron Jumbo too, specially the Ombrés. I bet these new colors will be fun to play with too!

I like the look of the ribbon yarn. Don’t recall if you said anything about the softeness. It looks slightly fuzzy which translates to softness for me. Wow, you crochet very fast!!!
Thanks for the video I’d really like to try this yarn. I agree and think it would be beautiful with the alpine stitch or your Cambridge Nights scarf.
I used the mustard ribbon it split a tiny bit on the white, but not the grey. However, no problem with the off-white. The center pull is very easy, no barf..

That is a great tip about using the "buy online pick up in store" coupon when you pick the yarn up. I got one of those coupons but didn't realize until the next day that it was only good for that one day when I picked up the yarn. Somehow I missed that detail but now I know!

I just finished watching your review. The yarn looks amazing, however, I am not one who likes a yarn that has this feature. I recently made a baby blanket that had a silver ribbon around it and I noticed that at times the ribbon would break and stick out. I just trimmed it back but I am sure it will unravel again. So I doubt that I would invest in the Caron Jumbo Twirl. I am a firm believer that if it ain't broke, don't fix it!! I did take advantage of the sale online for JoAnn's and like you, did two orders. Fabulous sale. Going to use my other coupons in store to get more discount on in store purchase of Caron One Pound☺️

I had seen this yarn at Joann’s online. I was undecided if I wanted to purchase it. After watching your video, I decided against buying it. On the web site they do have more colors. I’m just not a fan of the yarn. Glad you do these videos.

The colors are pretty. I love how soft Caron yarn is but something about my super loose crochet technique that the yarn just slips around for me 😢. I like that the center pull is accessible but i probably wont buy it.

Good review TY. It must be my juju to pick Caron yarns that are being discontinued. I also agree on a larger hook size. I love the feel of this yarn. I’m also madly in love with the color cakes from the Daiso store though it’s a bit softer.

After watching your video last night I ran out and got some of this to play with, thank you for enabling me again 😂🧶 I got the Truffle and Off White and am thinking of making a poncho with it. I got 10 skeins of LB anti pilling at $2.99 each to make a sweater or cardigan and I had a $10 off $50 and thought of you when I realized I was getting “a steal and a deal” 😂 I love it! Can’t wait to finish the blanket I’m working on to get this new yarn on my hook - thank you so much for the review and making me aware of this new yarn!!! ❤
Lol, I should have known you would have that yarn all ready! Pretty colors! I like the Iris Ribbon. I love Caron yarns too, but I also love to experiment with other types/brands of yarn. Ice yarns has got me hooked lately, that's for sure!

I have not always been a fan of Caron One Pounders. I have always found it to be on the bigger side of a 4, closer to a thin 5. If you say the ribbon makes it feel bulkier, then it will definitely feel like a 5 to me.

Hi Juan 👋, its a great idea to buy more than 1 to do a review, i have noticed that about quite a few different yarns feeling different or being slightly a different size and its just a different colorway. I love the blue btw😊
