If anything it just shows you how strong he is. If either Mina or Hoshina were in that situation they would’ve died before Kafka got to that state.

Yeah I wish they elaborated on it more and talked about how a lot of the numbers weapons they had especially after No.6's emergence killing swathes of the defense force as they said are still sitting in cold storage since they can't find anyone compatible to use them. Including the ones that had former users that died during 6's neutralization. Granted they'll probably elaborate on this more next season since its gonna head into the numbers weapons arc so I guess they're saving it for that.

Plus, the standard issue suits and weapons function the same with how their percentages work, it's easy enough to guess that those function and bond with the wearer through compatibility aside from constant training.

Season 2 is gonna be even better. New characters, glow ups, shocking reveals to keep the plot moving but what I'm most looking forward to is the action. No. 9 comes back prepared for the smoke and it is crazy.
A lot of people missed something last episode. The kaiju inside Kafka shouted "kill kaiju" when Kafka lost control. It wasn't trying to either kill her Dad nor just going into rage mode it was obviously reading the kaiju 2 gloves as a living kaiju and trying to kill it.
I'm genuinely surprised with Director Shinomiya, I thought he was gonna complete jerk like Endeavor was. But he's actually pretty cool, he not only gave Kafka a chance to prove he's still human. But he's also held his own against currently the most powerful kaiju for a good while.

Which I think makes a bit of a plot hole given that kikoru worries for her dad, she should be worried almost only for Kafka. But if he actually did try to get the best results, the best possibilities, to be the best as kikoru does, he would have been proud. Like he is now that he realized his wrong doings.

I love how this show just casually beat hella clichés. Kafka already somewhat adapted to his Kaiju form before he lost control, everyone treated him like a regular person before they even found out he was a Kaiju, and they still treated him the same after they found out, especially when he saved the entire base from being turned into a ashtray. Hyped for season 2 🔥

He got more durable, if not twice as strong. Since his size before was around 7 feet normally, That. Looked like 20 ft+ so not only does he evolve the angrier he gets, but also he's holding back ALOT

If season 2 follows what I remember of the manga Kafka is going to take a back seat as MC while the story focuses more on the other members individual training. It turned a number of people off the manga but I liked that the other characters got more screen time.
If Kafka was evil he had perfect oportunity to kill enemy leader. I also love how Mina was completely ignoring everyone in that room beside General Shinomiya.
I will say one thing the fly that turned Kafka into no.8 isn’t evil it is just trying to survive because it can die if Kafka dies and he picked Kafka for a specific reason as mentioned in episode 1 but more importantly the fly is learning from Kafka picking up his traits and morality
The kaiju inside kafka actually wants to kill other kaiju. The reason kafka lost control is because he refused to fight with what the bug thing sees as kaiju nr 2
Kafka's Kaiju didn't take over his body because he went into fight or flight mode. He was never scared of #2 Kaiju to begin with as you will see what level of powers is he on compared to #2, nor was Kafka scared. He was dodging to avoid any fight with Kikoru's dad. The kaiju took over his body because Kafka wasn't going to kill #2 Kaiju and he realised it. Rest of the time, Kafka went straight for the kill so the kaiju inside Kafka didn't need to take over his body. This isn't a spoiler, since everything that is known about Kafka's Kaiju from the manga has already been animated. We don't get to see this kaiju even untill the latest manga chapter 109. But the manga panels were a bit more explanatory with Kafka's kaiju intentions. HE EXISTS TO KILL OTHER KAIJUS.
I’m glad this show was made though I haven’t read the manga I will soon to catch up on next season. Also this series is reminding why I love monster based characters/heroes. Seeing Kafka go full Kaiju mode and not in control is crazy just no humanity just the monster that’s inside that he only uses for the sake of others.
I personally think it's not that Kaiju tried to turn human into another Kaiju. I think that "Little Kaiju" that Kafka ate have some kind of beef with his kind and decided to join humans in eradication of other Kaiju and that's why he only says "Kill Kaiju". Also i think that by "eating" Kafka from the wall that was holding him, he helped him gain control back. But hey, im just guessing here.
10:15 the reason Mina was crying was because she lost her cat from a Kaiju attack at that time. It´s a little different from the mange since there was no car in this scene.
I took the ending "take the kaiju power that fell into human hands" as him referring to the defense force using all the past strong Kaiju's as their actual weapons, I didnt take it as them referring to the Kaiju in Kafka. But now idk lol

If season 2 follows what I remember of the manga Kafka is going to take a back seat as MC while the story focuses more on the other members individual training. It turned a number of people off the manga but I liked that the other characters got more screen time.

I will say one thing the fly that turned Kafka into no.8 isn’t evil it is just trying to survive because it can die if Kafka dies and he picked Kafka for a specific reason as mentioned in episode 1 but more importantly the fly is learning from Kafka picking up his traits and morality

Kafka's Kaiju didn't take over his body because he went into fight or flight mode. He was never scared of #2 Kaiju to begin with as you will see what level of powers is he on compared to #2, nor was Kafka scared. He was dodging to avoid any fight with Kikoru's dad.
The kaiju took over his body because Kafka wasn't going to kill #2 Kaiju and he realised it. Rest of the time, Kafka went straight for the kill so the kaiju inside Kafka didn't need to take over his body.
This isn't a spoiler, since everything that is known about Kafka's Kaiju from the manga has already been animated. We don't get to see this kaiju even untill the latest manga chapter 109. But the manga panels were a bit more explanatory with Kafka's kaiju intentions. HE EXISTS TO KILL OTHER KAIJUS.
I’m glad this show was made though I haven’t read the manga I will soon to catch up on next season. Also this series is reminding why I love monster based characters/heroes. Seeing Kafka go full Kaiju mode and not in control is crazy just no humanity just the monster that’s inside that he only uses for the sake of others.

I personally think it's not that Kaiju tried to turn human into another Kaiju. I think that "Little Kaiju" that Kafka ate have some kind of beef with his kind and decided to join humans in eradication of other Kaiju and that's why he only says "Kill Kaiju". Also i think that by "eating" Kafka from the wall that was holding him, he helped him gain control back. But hey, im just guessing here.
