Beautiful and wealthy area Greenwich is for sure. I remember seeing George C. Scott and WWF/E President and CEO Vince McMahon in the downtown area a few times back then.
Wow! My wife and I bought a condo there in 1984 and shifted to another in 2003. I am stuck in New York City now, so this is indeed a mesmerizing experience. I remember every inch of what you cover. Thanks for sharing!
Rarely visit these days so took a few seconds to recognize Arch Street because too brief a view of Steamboat Inn and Bruce Museum now an unrecognizable eyesore. A quickie timeline placement: Must memories include the Library building and Pickwick Arms Hotel, and often overlooked Lewis Street before it was extended east to Milbank and west after demolishing the YWCA building. As for current appearance of downtown Greenwich? Skip pulling those political strings and replace the office of first selectman with that of mayor.

Smells like money
Is there lot of warehouses jobs there ? Is it good to leave with family’s ?
Property taxes are low because of the corporate tax base: meaning no warehouses.
Wow I heard a train go right over you
Lots of money in Connecticut however seriously deficient in hospitality
