Sorry if this is extemely annoying (im new to m8) *but* are there any plans to port mutable instruments' plaits algorithms too? I realise there's some crossover with braids but plaits has a different, smoother character, a whole extra parameter per voice, a version of rings, a chord voice, some cool noise algos... would make the synth options on m8 quite complete. The full rings port would be sick obviously but i think it's quite cpu intensive.
Omg. Crossfade loop that is printed into actual sample!!! Most samplers do it only „virtualy” without changing a sample, which is ok but not that great if you want to use same sample in the sampler that doesn’t have crossfading (also setting it up again and again is soo fun)

Is there a button combination to set the speaker volume while you have the headphones plugged in (and vice versa) so you can prepare the correct volume, before (un)plugging the aux cable? Would be cool if you could e.g. hold "shift" in addition to "edit" to set _the other_ output volume! Btw I love the M8! I use it almost always when I have to sit in the bus/train for a while and I enjoy the M8 a lot. And when I'm home I wire it inbetween my ExpressiveE Osmose and Polyend Play. The pPlay and the M8 can sequence each other while I jam using the Osmose on top of it. Thank you for enabling me to spend my time with such amazing tech!
it would be handy if you could use an external instrument track as an internal bus to route tracks through one mixer channel, as a drum kit bus or a master FX track like octatrack track 8 can be a master track

There is the detune parameter. "DETUNE XY" Where X is semitones and Y is 1/16th semitones. Or just do what I do and head over to the table screen, shift+opt+opt on the "N" column to selection edit / transpose all rows with a new value.
@@mdnloyal1478no built-in metronome, but you can set up an instrument of your choice in one of your tracks to keep time. Track 8 for me is usually a bip-bip-bip-beep sound until I get enough other tracks going and don't need the metronome any more. Then I just clear it
