I do miss the old version of Phasmophobia, I really wish they'd release Asylum again.
The global flashlight blinking is also really fun on Asylum, knowing you're being hunted but not being able to see or hear anything - nothing's even come close to that feeling.
ye i wish there would be an option to change versions to one a lot earlier
I wish they would bring back:
1. Old demonic laugh as an interaction (I almost had a heart attack the 1st time I heard it)
2. Old spirit box voices. The streamer ones are too goofy.
absolutely, and also old ghost sounds. why would ghosts sing horror movie themes? theyre hundreds of years old and are from different cultures

Man your true Smile , and Genuine happiness come through so well in this that it is freaking makes me happy to see you so happy and excited and hardly able to talk fast enough to share the classic version and the old days!! A lot that watch or are watching prob are new like me but man it brings me back hearing about your old classic gaming sessions well not vividly but man verbally you sing it like a story book, that why it's so exciting to see when you post, to me Insym= No B.S. only a gamer that love Horror and loves to share!

It’s crazy how almost your years ago from today I was blessed to run into insym playing his first phamso game. Have been a loyal watcher since then and really appreciate all he does 💜
EMF is primarily an electrician's tool that ghost hunters co-opted. So, they are real. They're used to check for unshielded wiring and such.

I miss this phasmo, game feels too complicated for me now too much to remember. I also hate that they took away the flashing when you get hunted, I wish it would come back as a toggle. I get that the new way is more realistic but it physically hurts my head and gives me headaches after like 1 round during hunts when the ghost is close to me now. I had to stop playing because of it

Not going to lie, I miss the old game, glitches and all lol. Especially the couch glitch on one of the maps where if you hid at that corner you could make the ghost stay with you cause you just had to go left and right and the ghost would go around the opposite side of the couch lol
feels awesome seeing this again i have a old build on my pc myself from 2020 and i love playing it, you got me into this game so thabkyou insym
I miss the old Ridgeview layout a lot, but now we have Fridgeview, so I guess it's all good. I also miss the blinking of everything during a hunt. Something about everything going haywire (but not necessarily seizurey, just slow blinking) was creepy and scary and it made the ghosts feel more powerful, even though back then they mostly weren't that strong.
Hot take: I don't miss the old Asylum. With one hilarious exception, it was never fun for me to play. That exception was a game where the ghost was in a room with a lot of showers and it was very active, so at one point I heard sooo many showers being switched every few seconds, and I couldn't contain my laughter.
It'd be cool if somehow you could play in other versions, a random 2022 version would be so cool with door hiding, the Maple Lodge map, the old Lobby screamer and a somewhat challenging photosystem :D
Those times bring back so many memories!!

You can still move out of bounds on new maps, or even get on top of the roof on some of them
I'd rewatch the first aniv vid, and I noticed DK said that cockroach and bugs was planned to be an evidence then got scrapped.😅
There's something that's now terrifying about the old Phasmo lobby, but I can't put my finger on what it is.

What I have learnt from watching many ghost games. Make sure your house light electrics are upto par, because if you can overload your breaker, odds are you'll have ghosts in your house, because they LOVE to only haunt houses where just turning on a light can blow the breaker open. xD
That first trip into Tanglewood, that foray into the unknown... Phasmo is how I came across your channel, what a 4 years it's been.

I don’t really comment often but seeing you grow from the first time I watched you back in 2020 to now is insane. I find it incredibly inspiring how far you have come as a person and a content creator. Rev sprinting to you from the end of the asylum hall. I can still see it as if it was yesterday.
In current phasmo you can still clip out of bounds using doors and it’s super easy. All you need to do is not be the host, find one of the few doors it can happen with and then hold the door and look down and walk into the door eventually you will clip out of bounds. Doors I found: Tanglewood entrance bathroom door, point hope top floor outside door. There are many doors I haven’t tested.
I have been watching since around 70k I think its crazy how far Insym has come since then. And not in ways you’d think. He still has his same old happy personality and lack of empathy when someone tries to tell him he’s wrong when he clearly knows he’s right 😂 I love him for that
I think one of the best updates they added to this game was the higher difficulties where evidence was hidden. After anyone plays for a bit, it's pretty easy to shovel in equipment and figure out the ghost. Now, you can really test your knowledge which is freaking epic. Side note, I kinda wouldn't mind them keeping the old farm houses and add the new ones as a separate variant? I know they want to revamp everything, but would be cool :3
Seeing you point out all the discrepancies is actually so impressive. Especially considering these versions of the game are a few years old.
I remember one of my mutuals mentioning your videos when I was playing Phasmo around Oct 2021. I was *fixated* on that, and watching your videos before and now I can't get enough of. 🔥
Good grief, seeing the old lobby feels so weird. I remember playing phasmo with the old lobby during the pandemic, and seeing it right now feels like the entire thing was literally just a long dream.. 😅

It's funny because I stopped playing phasmo a long time ago so this is basically how I remember it to be and doesn't make a diff at all haha

I wish there was an official way to play it, I would love to go back to that version every now and then just to feel the difference and have a few rounds at Asylum.

the thing with the hole in the middle of the planchette I think is pretty new to ouija... older versions had it pointing instead.
Funny how Insym call the swapping of two rooms as "The largest makeover." I don't know about you, but that is NOT a large makeover, change the entire house and I'll agree with that.
I started watching you on twitch early 2021 so this stream was very nostalgic.
Old Phasmo didn't have a base behavior framework for ghosts like new phasmo has. Every ghost was built from scratch, so there was a lot more room for random bugs and unintended mechanics. So I think it's correct to say that old phasmo, in a way, had more depth to it. But that depth wasn't necessarily sustainable or recreatable.

DK made the right choice by not making this game VR only. Phasmo would probably not have been as popular as it is today because a large amount of people wouldn't even have been able to play it.

I've never heard "scuffed" used as an expression of difficulty before. Or any sort of slang even. I've only ever heard it refer to small scratches or damage to shoes or floors. Is that a new slang?

photo system shouldnt be where u can take multiple of the same type of photo seems kinda cheap and cheaty. (but up how much a 3 star would give .
if you take a 3 star photo it should be good so u do not have to take multiples of same photos and they would give u no money for them.
