I was a type two diabetic with an A1C of 7.7 and I weighed 388 pounds at 5'5" when I was prescribed 1mg of Ozempic. A year later, my blood sugar is now in the normal range (A1C of 5.2) and I'm down by 120 pounds. I had to make huge changes in my diet, it's not a magic shot, and I still have a long ways to go. I think that when it's prescribed appropriately, that it's a great tool. It was never meant for individuals who are only 10-20 pounds overweight, with normal blood sugars. It's a serious drug with the potential for major side effects. I agree that it should only be used when the benefit to risk ratio is favourable.
It's preposterous to say people will diet and exercise to lose weight! Give them the Zepbound....it will save save medical outlays in the long term. Skinny people should not comment on this...have compassion on the obese. BTW...why do we allow smokers and drinkers to access the medical system?

3:30 - this is one reason why, with all due respect, we simply can’t take superficial thinkers like Jillian seriously. First, less than 1% of US crop land is certified organic. Even then, if we artificially and rapidly ramped up demand for fruits and vegetables based on their current limited dedicated cropland and availability, prices would skyrocket. There’s no simple answer to this.

Workout habits... Of course, I'm retired and can afford to spend the extra time, but... An old 1970's Schwinn and a kiddy cart trailer handle 95% of my daily transportation needs to the tune of a few thousand miles a year. Take the stairs. Don't stock soda pop, get a heavy-duty commercial-grade lemon press to flavor water and gin. Make most of your meals with unprocessed produce -- stunningly tasty. Cut your own lawn with a walk-behind. Park out in the hinterlands of big parking lots and walk in. Oh, and pick up pieces of trash to deposit at the trash cans at the mall/store/office entrance. There's no need to go all devout with this stuff... Enjoy a burger, pizza, king-sized candy bar every once and a while. Stop sitting and move!
Does anyone remember the outrage when a story came out when meat processors were making the "maybe meat" slime that they were putting in our foods? The only thing the FDA learned from all of that was to better hide these types of foods and chemicals. They go out of their way to name certain dangerous ingredients *sound* much better than they are. This also spills over in to medications that are supposedly meant to help you. Unfortunately I had to find out the hard way that some of these medications ( many that were never really intended for their prescribed use ) are very dangerous and many of the side affects are PERMANENT. I have permanent Tardis Dyskinesia from Tramadol and Gabapentin. For those that do not know, Gabapentin, Lyrica and several others that are prescribed for "nerve pain" were developed for SEAZURES! They are serotonin modifiers and it is irreversible. I have to sleep in a bed by myself because I have episodes where any part of my body will just flail randomly. It was so bad at one point that it would cause me to sit straight up and flail my arms. Something has to be done to get the money out of these 3 letter institutions and bring better health back to the US.
Some meds and med combinations have given me myoclonic jerks. I’ve noticed I no longer get them since switching to Prozac . I’m very sensitive to ssri and snri meds, and have had seizures seemingly related to seizure threshold lowering ones, so I consider this a major win. Might be worth trying.

Registered Licensed Dieticians are undervalued in US healthcare. I wish more people would use them as a means of preventative medicine. My mom is a Family Nurse Practitioner and she would refer patients to RLD at her clinic. She told me a few dieticians sent her thank you emails for the referrals as she was one of the few providers who actually recommended their services to patients. I have been working with a RLD for the past year. I was a high risk pregnant patient with elevated BP and wanted to watch my weight during my pregnancy. I actually lost weight during my 1st trimester and only gained 15 lbs total. 2 months postnatal, I'd lost all of the weight I put on during my pregnancy (most of it was water/baby). I basically didn't gain anything and my son was born healthy. I continue to work with my dietician postnatal, working through more long term weight loss goals.

I've noticed that about half the women in my little town are on Ozempic or an off-brand. It's pretty weird. These women went from 250+ lbs to 100lbs in six months. They look like they're the walking dead, their hair is falling out, their face sunken in, eyes the size of saucers, and the weirdest thing of all, they think they look great! They are dying right in front of everyone.
People also need to stop blaming others for their obesity. Blaming others doesn’t burn calories or solve the problem. It’s 💯 about accountability. There is no need for anyone to take ozempic if everyone just tried keto, carnivore or intermittent fasting and exercising 30 min a day it makes a difference. There is not an ozempic deficiency in our bodies so no need for this. Many of us have an accountability deficiency and need to look inward as it’s psychological to have a food addiction. There is no magic pill for anything. Discipline and hard work is what it takes. It’s not easy for everyone. I’ve been a healthy weight for 4 years now and I have to work at it every day. I’ve been on both sides so I’m allowed to judge. I was busy, then, sure. I still am. We all are. Every day it’s about the choices we make. Consistency is key. Best of luck to anyone on weight loss journey.

Jillian is spot on the way she broke it down. She is just awesome!

Pricing is also a huge factor in choosing what to eat
THIS WOMAN KNOWS NOTHING
These medications have been game changers. Many millions have benefited. Should be made widely available and prices slashed.
They either purposely keep the medications in low available or give the illusion of the lack of availability to keep the cost high. Supply and demand.
Until diet and exercise is addressed the weight will come back.
Causing heart problems is 'benefitting?'
It's preposterous to say people will diet and exercise to lose weight! Give them the Zepbound....it will save save medical outlays in the long term. Skinny people should not comment on this...have compassion on the obese. BTW...why do we allow smokers and drinkers to access the medical system?
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Strange how people in the early 1900s were mostly slim and trim . Yet they didn't use drugs to be or stay that way. Americans are always looking to drugs to fix everything.
Exactly!! Discipline has nothing to do with addiction!!
What about the Botox injections
Exactly, these women are injecting Botox, lip fillers but have audacity to tell the rest to not to inject glp-1….just ridiculous….
It’s okay if it is organic, grass-fed Botox.
@@NewAgeNewLife And the surgery. And the fact that she used to sell diet pills until three class action lawsuits forced her to take them off the market. Massive hypocrisy.
I love Jillian Michaels!
Nicely said Jillian!!

Fox needs to bring on Dr. Tyna Moore and let her and Jillian debate on this issue.
Zero professional certifications -- "...just well known for being well known." Poor source to ask anything.

This injectable also helps with alcoholism.
You MUST start talking about SELF-DISCIPLINE, too.
If you want to fix the problem.
These people didn't become obese overnight but yet think that taking drugs will reduce the weight without work. Costing healthy people to pay billions more every year to support their eating habits.
to get her message out better, she honestly needs to CALM DOWN
“I forbid it”? I don’t know who you think you are, lady, but I’ve lost over 100 pounds, and I sometimes eat junk. My blood sugar is normal, my blood pressure runs 106/60 most of the time, and my total cholesterol is 145 with HDL of 61-putting me at a NEGATIVE cardiac risk even with a strong family history of heart attack and strokes. Oh-and I’m 60 years old. So sue me.
Nah I don’t trust her. Let people take the shots there’s not bad side effects, and it’s not about “organic” is about low carb/ low sugar.
I love it!!!😊 Bring on the Wego y 😊
Sean might eat sweets but eating KFC and McDonald's is the problem. That's were 95% of Americans fail. They eat this garbage fast food.
Jillian makes sense
Gotta love Jillian!
Even if Robert were to change things a little bit, the contribution to human flourishing would be enormous. Just say *NO* to eating bugs and Biden's uncle.
I love how she says “For one, they’re expensive “. No, they’re expensive here. Everywhere else in the world it’s affordable. $100 in Europe compared to $1200 here. How about fix the drug prices epidemic and the cost of healthcare. Get rid of the middleman garbage.
I don't use obesity medication although i lost 30lbs in 5 months just by eating healthy
Let talk about pain meds that people need to keep active. Like walking and riding bicycles or just going to the grocery store to buy healthy foods. And let talk about how parents are letting their kids play video games all day long inside and feeding them junk food and no vegetables. And here the main thing is that we have poepel on food stamps that buy junk food at convenience stores now when they should be buying real food from grocery stores.
What she said at 5:00 is on point. The environment matters for sure!!
She sold diet pills and had to take them off the market after three class action lawsuits. She was all for diet drugs when they were padding her bank account!
On point. On point ! Organic food, Gym membership and guidence ! Bingo! Goodbye extra weight !
Question....if all this crap is being put in our food, which keeps us overweight, wouldn't exercising (enough to lose the weight) work against those drugs (while in our body) and cause heart attacks and other life-threatening illnesses?
I HAVE BEEN AWAKE FOR OVER AN HOUR BECAUSE OF BARKING. I’M NOT IN THE MOOD TODAY. I DO NOT WANT TO GO TO WORK.
Sucks! Hopefully you'll get a bit of sunshine.
Great interview!! Loved how honest he was because it just proves her point that these fast food joints have highly addictive ingredients and it leads us back there

Was with her completely but to expect people not to have McDonald’s EVER is a place we will never get to in this country.
That was the most hysterical exchange!!
😂😂I feel u, Sean!!
I love that you guys are great Julian you’re awesome. I’m a hairdresser. I’m in my 60s. I exercise every day and I eat right I got sick years ago from inflammation in my stomach. I know how important being healthy is watching what you eat and exercising there’s much we don’t have controller, but what you do have control love please do it matter matters.
So here's the thing. I am pre-diabetic and now qualify for Ozempic. I will be trying and hope that I can tolerate it. My doc hopes that combined with diet changes it will help me avert diabetes.
One hand washes the other. Big Ag + FDA.
I love their banter
I love jillian, she's the best!
Jillian looks fabulous!💗💖
LOVE Jillian! Love RFK Jr for what he wants to do! Get the chemicals out of our food, soil and environment!
Water is a chemical. I can tell you’ve been getting your scientific education from a man whose brain was eaten by worms. And Jillian Michaels used to sell diet pills until she was forced to take them off the market after three class action lawsuits. She’s a phony.
Why are they using weight loss drugs? Geez. Just GO OUTSIDE AND WALK every day.
Tell that to Jillian. She was taken to court in three class action lawsuits over the diet pills she sold. That’s the only reason they still aren’t on the market today.
They aren't irreversible. At least not normally.
@@PhillipH-san It has been almost 10 years and I have heard similar stories from many people. Trust me. It doesn't go away.
@@lorib604 Thank you for that info. Yeah I have tried Prozac and also Valium. Just unfortunate that the SSRI drugs are so widely prescribed for any issue nerve related. They became more common during the push to reduce opioids.
That's the point! The money spent on these drugs could easily pay for a very healthy diet!
Or a product that Jillian Michaels could sell you. She sold diet pills that were determined to have dangerous ingredients and was taken to court in three separate class action lawsuits. I’m sure she just forgot to bring that up! 😂
@@Orchidaceous1really??😮😅
Love how she is using her celeb platform. It makes sense coming from her and look forward to her in the next 4 yrs.
Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control. That was the name of the drug that she used to sell. She got sued, and it’s no longer on the market. The only reason she is against weight loss drugs now is because she’s not getting a cut of the money anymore.
RFK Jr. has many good ideas, such as healthier foods and a halt to pharmaceutical advertising. His anti-vaccine stance was catastrophic in Samoa, and it will be catastrophic here.
Give the people three square meals and a gym membership… genius. This will tie into RFKs perspective to address the cause of health issues and not just prescribe a Rx the address the symptoms.
WOW!!! I'm 54 yrs old and Sean Hannity is same as me...Gotta stay away from sugary food and work-out even the days I don't feel like it...but occasionally I skip or cheat
Jillian has uber charisma.
The shots make you eat less. You have to choose to eat the healthier foods. I’m a few months in. It’s not easy but it’s helping me.
How about... YOU just eat less ... Without drugs. WEAK
@
You think it’s easy!
When somebody is in a body cast strapped into a wheelchair, do you tell them to snap out of it?
Watch the movie " The Substance "" you wouldn't take any drugs for anything
The old generation had the best cures for obesity. Grandma would tell us, "Get out of the kitchen and get to work, then after your work is done you can stay outside and play." Never had to take one pill to control weight.
Love Jillian. she sounds like a fun person to be around. just what I want in a good PT :)

I've lost 65lbs in 6 months back down to 200lbs after deciding I refuse to inject myself with that stuff. All it does is suppress hunger and I could do that through determination. Just diet routine change alone to the DASH diet cut 10lbs per month doing nothing. Added exercise this last month and it's MELTING. Just do it. Don't wait, I feel so much better and I've made it a routine so hopefully it stays off vs ozempic you stop and you rebound big time
I worked in Workers Comp for along time and many folks that were going to Physical Therapy that was useless, we offered a YMCA Membership instead. It was cheaper and the Clients were able to do more afterwards.
Love Her, she makes you feel bad in a good way.
She’s such a phony. Her entire face and body have been remade through surgery and injections. You’ll never hear her mention her wife on this media outlet. And she certainly won’t bring up the class action lawsuits over the dangerous diet pills she used to sell.
I like Jillian. Im subbed to her channel. Before this summer I just thought she was an actress. I didn't realize she was a trainer wnd nutritionist and stuff.
She is not a dietitian. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist in the United States, but dietitians require education and certification. She’s just a personal trainer who has a history of selling dangerous diet pills.
She is so wrong! These drugs have saved people. People actually have gotten off of many drugs. Where is she coming from.
The long term success of these medications may cut into her bottom line!
She’s from the healthy food and sport mafia. Keep popping them pills
You do realize the drugs paralyze your stomach right? And when you stop taking them? The weight comes right back on. Anna In Ohio
She is very much right. You are too brainwashed and think health lives inside a syringe instead of food.
Nope. Been on maintenance several months. Exercising, eating healthier, blood work looks great. I stayed on low dosage the entire time. No problems here.
I'm very thin 5 7 and weight only 105 with heart disease
I'll go along with that Jillian...and RFK...health!!!
She was sued three times in class action lawsuits for selling diet pills with dangerous ingredients. She’s just as shady as he is.
FDA IS WORTHLESS !!!!
I really really really like her. Brilliant and beautiful, a rare combination.
totally agree with Jillian here, she is spot on... medications should be used as a last resort, there are PLENTY of natural interventions that work extremely well for these issues, diet, exercise and mental health do wonders and no medications needed.
Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control-that is the name of the diet pill she used to sell. It only went off the market because she got sued. She’s a massive hypocrite.
😂😂😂😂we lost him...and she its lovely😊😊😊
Jillian is beautiful, bright, and bold. MAHA 2025🇺🇸

Pumped full of filler and she’s had a ton of facial surgeries. She’s as natural as the diet pills she was sued over and had to remove from the market because of their dangerous ingredients.
Full disclosure, I like Jillian and her message. That being said her being known for "Keeping It Real" is kinda funny given how much work she's had done over the years lol!
Her face is pumped full of filler. She’s had tons of surgery. And she was taken to court in three class action lawsuits over the diet pills she sold. She’s a scammer. There is nothing natural about her.
seed oil is used in kfc
This segment cracked me up! LOL
Food AND water!
I’m ok with the crutch injection, but if you done change your eating and up your exercise then it will be a failure just like any diet.
No one under the age of 18 should be on these meds. Kids need to not eat junk and be in a sport.
I feel that the short term gains from these weight loss pens outweigh the long term health effects, and the same with cholesterol lowering drugs, folks do your homework before you decide to commit to taking certain drugs. 🤷
I lost 20 lbs using the fasting method. There are various ways to fast but I followed Fast Like a Girl and it works great for me. I needed to lose 20 lbs and i did it over 3 months.
No need for fancy medication.
Need both ..for sure and nutrition training
Just a coincidence that shed directly lose money from this drug
When it comes to the government, specifically Democratic representation, I have argued that recent history suggests they have one approach to EVERY problem: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE! Three quality meals a day and a membership? Be for real! Give them the drug or whatever crutch instead of having to put forth effort.
Trump is expected to mention Quarden Token this week and the ICO is already almost sold out
She makes too much sense
No, she doesn’t. She was fine with the idea of selling diet drugs when she did it. They were taken off the market due to three class action lawsuits because of the dangerous ingredients in them. She’s just mad she’s not the one getting paid anymore.
Ask her about the worm RFK had in his brain
And ask her about the diet pills she used to sell. Three class action lawsuits later and she sure is quiet about them!
And she looks just like ,the way ur gonna look if u use em
