First and almost, thanks for this amazing content @NZE PETERO. Entebbe airport reflects what uganda is going through at the moment. Which is when you have a govt stay in power for so long and you run out of fresh ideas. Secondly most people in prominent positions of power are too old I am taking about late 60s/70s and above. So they can't see things from a younger generation perspective. I meant entebbe airport is a far cry from being an international airport by any standards those in power may not see it but since being in power for nearly 40 years, entebbe airport has not gone through any top note renovation to be closer to an international airport. It's miles away from being one. But that is the price you pay when you have a govt stay in power for so long and also have most of its leaders of a certain age demographic that are out of touch with reality. Otherwise, amazing content. Keep it up. 👏
Thanks my brother for your contribution I agree with you but let's also look at what the government's priority is. Uganda from the coups or had, the insecurity we had that took long and more visa vee other infrastructure that they had to develop like roads, hospitals to mention but a few.
The face of this airport never changes, year after year still the safe face like in IDD Amin eras. I heard that they are expanded the airport, but I can still see the same ka thing. But uganda😂😂😂😂
@@nzepeteroug I don't know why Mr museveni government and the concerned don't see such things some infrastructures are old fashioned in the era of colonialists and technology has changed
I think Uganda deserves a bigger airport and more purchase of flights also needs to demolish that old airport building and construct new and modern infrastructures their that old build is not look modern it looks old fashioned and makes air port to look old too
Quality very wanting - from sound to video. I guess you could do better since this is visualized globally (market your home with very competitive quality work). The biggest airport in Uganda deserved better! The luganda...worse still begging/demanding for pay by some lady (and her colleague) in the background sounded too unprofessional. Lots of work - editing several scenes etc surely needed.
what's wrong with people speaking in their mother tongue in their home country. point out the fact that she was asking for money but I don't know how that's got to do with language she speaks
Nothing to be proud of ; is that what it should be since 1986 with one stable government? Know the history of Entebbe to ask your self whether it's nite worthy ; does it earn any serious Ugandans ( pride ) ? No! In 1976; Isreali commandos wreaked havoc on the old tower and destroyed 12 MIG jet fighters; Amin rebuilt the Airport to acceptable standards by the time of his flight in 1979 ; again in 1979 ' liberation " forces from Tanzania attacked and shot down a Libyan military transport plane that had brought Libyan and Palestinian mercenaries to bolster Amins ebbing military power ! the Airport suffered damage; in 19i86, there was no fighting at Entebbe; the UNLA battalion just fled upon learning that the NRA were closing in on Kampala; the UNLA had to move fast before their exit route could be blocked though they failed in their first attempt as they were blocked by the NRA at Kisubi and Kajjansi ; now with one government since 1986, , where is the pride about Entebbe!
