I’m so glad I’m not alone in the health anxiety situation. It’s an awful thing to have, I’m constantly worrying about every little lump or bump 🤦♀️ x

I have health anxiety as well...so glad to hear i am not alone.
I get anxiety over everything lol but especially body issues. I have a bump on my back and it got big so I went to the doctors and he checked it and told me it's just a regular cyst, non cancerous. He said it got big because it's Inflamed due to it being infected, he told me to put a heating pad on it to help the swelling go down. It is usually small but grows in size when it's inflamed. It happens a lot in the winter.

We do have lymph nodes in our armpits, just like how we do in our necks. I noticed some of mine will swell if I have even a little bit of allergies over the night, if im sick, or even if there’s any kind of drainage in the body they can. Some of mine have taken some time to go away as well, so I understand your anxiety ❤️ I’m glad you’re all doing okay! ☀️☀️
Regular deodorant causes the lump most times. I use to work for a mammogram company and ever since the. I use the deodorant without aluminum. ❤
90 seconds in and I needed to come by and say - you don’t sound silly for being scared of finding a lump. The fact you spoke about it on social media is anything but silly. You have most likely had so many women more likely to check themselves, so you’ve done an incredible thing. Especially being a young woman too, a lot of young women don’t think they need to check themselves, because ‘it’s only older people that get cancer’, so by you doing it - it’s probably brought the needed awareness to lots of people!
I’m 22 and I lost my mum to breast cancer in March 2019 (it’s also her birthday today😭) Ever since then, I’ve been checking my boobs daily - because things can change In 24 hours. It’s a scary thing, especially finding something - but never be embarrassed to talk about it or feel silly, because it’s better to be silly, but alive - than too proud to check, and not breathing 🤷♀️

Liana you don't sound silly. Your feelings and concerns are completely valid. I'm a momma of 3 young adults now and I've always told my kids to never be afraid to ask about anything. The only stupid question is the question you don't ask. Especially when it's about your health. You are such amazing humans and parents. He is getting so big to fast. Lots of love from this northern Michigan momma ❤️
It's totally okay to get a bump checked out if it's worrying you. I had one, and I know some other people who have had random bumps. One time, it was cancer, but for the rest of us, it wasn't. I was scared when I had mine because I have a family member who had a lump in the same area and at the same age as I was then. It was cancer for them, but they survived. I got mine checked out, and it showed no signs of being problematic. The doctor told me that if the lump is hard and unmoving, that's a red flag. If it's soft, movable, and especially if it shrinks, then it's likely fine. I did cry and panic when I found the lump, and it was so scary to go to the doctor for it. However, I was really relieved afterward. Thinking back on it, the scariest bit was when I got the bill.
Never ever feel silly for being worried about your health Liana! I’ve had lumps in my armpits before and they’ve just been ingrown hairs after shaving, but I was just as worried. If you’re worried at all again, there’s no harm in getting checked to put your mind at ease. I’m glad Connor and koazy are on the mend💙
Not silly at all, as someone who really struggles with anxiety this is normal, and I assume your reaction would also be the same with many who don't have anxiety as finding a lump is a very very scary thing, wishing you all the best liana 💕
You don't sound silly! In my 61 years I've found more than one lump and they've all been benign fibro cystic lumps. Yes, it's very scary but even if it were something ( imo I don't think it will be) getting it checked out immediately gives the most chance of full recovery. I'll keep you in my prayers that nothing comes of it!

Hi! The thing in your armpit is most probably a swollen Lymph node. Its a gland that holds white blood cells and can get swollen when you have an infection or after being sick, My advice is that if it persists after a week you should go and get it checked and they may give you some antibiotics to help top the swelling. Its a common thing so its not too serious. Hope that helped!
This family just makes me feel so happy. Definitely get that lump checked out liana. It’s more than likely nothing to worry about but better to have it checked out all the same. I can’t wait for your podcast to start. I’m all for that 😁♥️

I had a lump a couple of years ago. I went to get it checked and it turned out to be a fibroidenoma which is benign. But even the nurses and doctors I saw said I was 100% right to get it checked so please don't worry about "wasting time" Liana
Don't worry too much about the little lump in the arm pit. I have gotten that before too and it's just a swollen gland. You have them in your throat, your arm pits and your groin. Sometimes stress can aggravate them. As long as it goes down within a few days it's ok. If it doesn't go away or if it does and comes back a couple time, then please go get checked out!

So happy to hear you are doing better. The plaid carpet Liana picked looks great! Excited to see the cabin come together. Liana after finishing breastfeeding with my middle daughter I had a lump too. It was a sebaceous cyst. It swelled and then shrank, swelled, and shrank again, of course please book an appointment with your GP. I just wanted to put your mind at ease. They removed mine with local anesthesia and I haven't had any issues since. As always you all are in my prayers. Take care.
i know you might not see this but about the lump in your armpit i don’t think it’s anything it could just be a swollen lymph node. i went to do the doctor today because i’ve been overthinking a lot of stuff. but swollen lymph nodes start happening if you have a infection or scratch somewhere. i know this might not help because i’m just a kid but i just wanted to let you know that! (but never feel scared or embarrassed to get it checked out because i had a lump in my throat and it freaked me out SO much i got it checked out.)
edit: it might take several weeks for the lump to go away!
ahhh barista here !! i’d love to chat and teach you how to make that coffee machine work! make sure it’s heated up for at least 5 minutes! try not put so much coffee in the portafilter and it should fit better! also for the milk, tilt the cup you’re steaming in at a slight angle, for the first 3-6 seconds have the steaming wand close to the surface of the milk to make like a “paper tearing” noise! it’s called “aerating” then still at an angle submerge the steaming wand in the milk, making sure it doesn’t touch the bottom of the cup! steam until the milk starts to rapidly come to the top of the cup! you’ll have wonderful foam! lots of love !!

I love this channel, it feels like home to me for some reason. Liana made me think of my current situation and I’m going to share some of that and it’s a lot to share but here goes. At one point I was a very negative person, I wasn’t depressed but I constantly woke up in a bad mood and I always thought things like, “I hate my life and why is this my life”? One day I decided that I would try to be more positive because I just wanted to feel better. Bad things will happen, I will always have bad days but I’m fairly happy with my life now and I didn’t change anything other than my mindset. I want to be happy, I’ve been changing the negative self talk and when things happen that upset me, I try to deal with it in the best way I know how. If it’s mental health, that’s different but if you just have a negative mindset, you can change that. I have a lot of anxiety with most things but I’m learning new ways to cope with it. I know this was a lot but I hope if someone reads this and is in the same position, maybe it can help them too. ❤

Also after I had my baba boy I noticed little lumps in my breasts aswell and was so stressed about it and I went to get them checked and they were completely normal never feel silly or wrong to be worried... it usually takes a couple weeks for them to be completely gone sending all my love hope all of you feel better soon x

Catching any bumps early is the most important thing. The quicker you find it, the better the odds, the less surgeries etc. And never ever feel silly for running to the Dr, thats what they are there for!! Even if it's nothing serious, they don't mind trust me! They much rather tell you its nothing, than have it be bad. I follow a fellow Canadian couple called Eamon and Bec, and she found a lump, went through all the process, filmed it, and beat it! One thing great about today's social media is that there is always someone out there going through what you are, you're never truly alone! 💛💛💛
I had a lump towards my underarm and it was a fat lump (I was thin) those things happen! I also had a lump in my breast and it turned out to be just a fluid sack that they popped and it went away! Stay positive, think positive! Prayers, love n light to you ❤️🤗🌟✨💖🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi liana, I had to say something from experience. I also too had a lump under my armpit and suffer with really bad anxiety. I was told at first it was a milk duct but when I finally went to the doctors I was told it was an infection and needed antibiotics. But you can also get hair get stuck that also cause tiny lumps. It's always best to get checked. They will be able to double check and put your mind at ease. Good luck with the podcast. And hope Connor will be feeling 100% soon as vertigo is horrible but it will get better. Sending 💗 to you all

But yea get it checked out. I had a ingrown hair a few times and the last time it got so infected I ended up needing surgery always better safe than sorry❤❤❤

About the lump - you asked about your post-partum appointment at your OBGYN some time ago, and if you should get an appointment in person since yours was over the phone: Please get the appointment. They check exactly for lumps like that under your arms at that appointment. For my two kids it was the same - the doctor checked my chest area and felt to see if there are lumps under my arms. Since yours was over the phone, noone checked it. Take care of yourself, I wish you the best.
