Congratulations! You are one of the only reactors to not get distracted by the LARPing. It took me a couple viewings to hear the wonderful vocals . Very informative analysis.
Your "moving" (punny, punny) commentary pulls your audience in and makes us pay attention to your insights. Great job ! Please keep reacting to Home Free and other groups that focus on harmony.
Ok, I am a Home Free junky, and I freely admit that I go from reactor to reactor watching breakdowns of their music. I particularly enjoy your channel because you focus on the percussion in a way that others usually just don’t - it’s mentioned, but not really broken down. It’s great to hear an actual drummer and musician explain why certain little additions that Adam does works so well and adds so much more to their incredible vocals. I have a (limited) background in vocal music, so it’s really interesting and educational for me to hear it from your perspective. Thanks for that, and don’t worry about pausing! We’re here to hear your take on these songs, and hopefully get a richer portrait of Home Free’s genius! Keep ‘em coming. I’d love to hear your reaction to Austin and Rob singing Nessun Dorma together. It’s quite amazing, and you’ll definitely get a whole new picture of their talent.
Don't apologize for stopping the video. Most of us have seen this video multiple times so there really aren't any surprises. We are here to see Your Reaction to it. Don't apologize for your reaction to it. We are here for You.
I love everything about this video - the song, the message of the song, the singing, beatboxing, harmonies - all of it. The woman who clubs Austin (the elf) is his lady Amberly and she keeps waling on them in the background. Just a terrific video - thanks for playing it, your comments & analysis.
It has to be way harder to be an accapela group then a band because they don't just sing together they have to harmonize and make all the sounds. Homefree has mastered this.
You are the first reactor for this video that is not distracted by the funny video. Thanks to you I can hear stuff I didn't hear in the hundreds of times before
I've watched dozens of reactors to this one especially. Hats off to you for being the only one who was able to completely focus on the music the first time through.
I love this! D&D with Stars Wars, Braveheart and LOTR thrown in for good measure. I love that Adam got to be the hero and how appropriate that he used the resurrection/healing spell on the others so they could take out the last bad guy together. Kudos for the cartwheel. I couldn't go one as a kid let alone at 40
Home Free=Brotherhood=5Brothers💖 This is so awesome!!!! So cool and funny but at the same time so sweet!!! Beautiful how they are dressed up, all one by one fabulous. What a beautiful start from Chance with a voice so smooth and sexy. And even though it looked cool, it was almost a shame that you didn't see his face through that helmet for a while. 😊 Then our soulful Rob, the teddy bear with his beautiful voice as soft as silk and his very high note!! ❤ Who sings while lying down and later received a sweet kiss on his injured finger from Tim😂 Tim with his beautiful pathetic dragon and who with his bass could have knocked everyone down in my opinion. 😉 Austin with his amazing moves and a voice just like he looked. And I think Amberly loved knocking him down. 😅 Then Adam Rupp, who I think has always been magical with his vocal percussion/vocal sounds, but proved once again that he is The Magier/The Wizard and the glue of Home Free. A song so beautifully sung and will definitely be on my playlist of favorite songs💞😍
Thank you for reacting and the analysis is always top notch and enjoyable! I get a kick out of your thrill for the percussions, it's contagious!.You are so right Home Free never disappoints! I Appreciate you! Sending love from South Georgia ♥️😃🍟
We've been waiting (too long) for you to get to this amazing cover by HF. I always enjoy hearing your expertise and perspective and watching your delight when they produce vocally what you're sensing should be happening musically (building, bridges, harmonies, fills, etc.). Keep the joy coming with more HF songs, there's lots left to explore - I suggest more originals like their latest, What's Left of My Heart written by Tim, or the many on their Dive Bar Saints LP.
Love your reaction. My percussion-obsessed heart loves all the explanation. You hold the distinction of being the first reactor I've seen who didn't get so distracted by the video that they lost track of the music. Good job!
I agree. It was an excellent reaction and helped me focus on the music which is wonderful! Even after many views I find it hard to avoid getting caught up in the video, but the music is really good
Always enjoy your analysis. Great song & message! The guys looked like they had a lot of fun doing this video. This was my first introduction to "larping". I agree no other a cappella group has the vocal bass & vocal percussion sound mastered like Home Free.
Always LOVE your analysis of Home Free & appreciate learning about WHY these guys & their arrangements are so phenomenal, but you HAVE to go back & watch the fun & goofy video all the way through because that's the other reasons we love them so much...their incredible "brotherhood" & their absolute goofiness!🤪 It is so cute & sweet especially at the end & the reason you got a "gospel" vibe is because this is a contemporary Christian song by "Need to Breathe"! Then, you need to watch Austin & Rob, "Two country singers TRY singing Opera". It's on Austin's channel. No percussion or bass, just "surprise"! 🤗& 😘from SE Tennessee!😊
One thing that I notice about Home Free that I don't get with the other a capella groups is that they make me totally forget I'm listening to an a capella group. At the end of every song, I kind of shake myself to remind myself there are no instruments. After a few months of listening, you would think I'd get that, but THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD. The exception to this is the songs when they do 5-part harmony without vocal percussion.
Been missing your reactions! This video... I had to quit watching it and just listen to hear the lyrics because HF'S antics were so funny! You are only the second reactor I've seen who actually focused listening to the music and not get wrapped up in the video! Great job! As always, enjoyed your analysis.
Your reactions are so educational. And I do appreciate your reaction to Home Free. There are many hoping you'll have time to give a listen to the two opera performers, Tim and Rob.
Excellent, informational reaction. You are always one of my favorites to watch, as you explain so much. I just LISTEN and feel, but it's nice to know the technicality of what artists do, and how talented Home Free truly is.
I hope you go back and actually watch all of the video some time. Lots of funny stuff. I absolutely love this song and what they did with it. Every time I hear it, I can't get it out of my head and even hear it in my dreams. lol Thanks for the great reaction!
Always look forward to your Home Free reactions. Your dynamic response to their musicality is so enjoyable. Glad to hear you will be dropping more reactions and it is great the way you encourage listeners to go to HF's channel. Be well.
Hey, it’s nice to see you too. Great reaction! I really enjoy your reactions because you look at the songs differently than many of the other professional musician reactors. I love your focus on the vocal percussion and bass and the composition and structure of the song. Don’t worry about pausing…I always learn something from you. And your enthusiasm is contagious!
Long time no see! As usual, very informative reaction. Wish I'd had been armed with much of what you observed prior to watching this with so many other reactors (haven't come across one who shares your expertise)! For having watched this sooo many times, your comments provide a new awareness of what Home Free is so amazingly capable of doing. Thanks!
Love this. I have no difficulty believing that Adam Rupp creates his own magic! Interesting to get the technical take on the percussion and arrangement.
Thanks so much for your review!! I love that you focused on the music, not on the action in the video. The music these men make is magic, but most of the reviews I've seen of this particular song concentrate on the video, not the vocal performance of the song. That is sad to me, because the harmonies in it are fabulous! You've got yourself a new subscriber, and I'm looking forward to watching your other reviews.
I’ve been looking forward to this for days. Put on my ear buds as soon as I saw the notification because I always wanna hear what you’re hearing in the background! While I believe you enjoy their humorous side which is HERE in this video and other reactors love to comment on that as well as their talent, what you focus on is the musicality of their performances. I love to see your admiration for their “instruments” as well as the arrangements! Personally, something would’ve been lacking in this if not for Rob’s (your favorite beard!) gorgeous falsetto! Thanks! 👍👍👍👍
Jarvis !... Your breakdown is amazing... I'm not that kind of expert musical aficionado..lol..I only know what I like to hear in total..in this case the eye was pleased as well... Keep teaching us that are lagging musically..👍😉... 🌿🌿🌿
.As a percussion and beatboxing lover, I really enjoy your breakdowns. I’m still reeling from being front row listening to Rupp’s amazing vocals during a Home Free show recently. Phenomenal!
Thank you once again for a spot on analysis! I love watching your face and body when you hear something that makes you happy or intrigues you. Your love of music is front and center and you have the knowledge to explain what happens and why to those of us that love the music, but don't have a way to explain why. The guys just released a remake of Don't Laugh at Me with the original artist Mark Wills. It's always been a wonderful song, but they've done it to bring attention to anti-bullying month. I know you can get behind that message. Again, thank you for being you! ❤
That is without a doubt the best reaction to this song I have ever seen. Everyone else is so interested in looking at the crazy costumes that they're missing all that stuff you were talking about. As many times as I've seen this video, you brought my attention to things I had missed before. Kudos!
I am doing great! I came home from work to watch some Home Free reactions and first thing i see is my favorite reactor has a new Home Free reaction up!! You made my whole day better. Thank you and keep the Home Free coming.
Great reaction as usual. Love the way you can point out something in the arrangement very quickly and move on. My daughter went with me to their concert with me last year but didn't want to listen to Home Free's version of this song because she loves the original so much. I had never heard it so I checked it out and must admit I loved it too. It's a great song. Home Free's version is very different, but I think they are both equally good.
This was great! Home Free and Pentatonix are 2 of my favorites! I just subscribed to you a few days ago when I came across your reaction to Hallelujah by Pentatonix. I went through all of your posted reactions and did not see a reaction video for Pentatonix Aha Singapore Live from Star Vista. You have seriously got to check that out. It is completely MINDBLOWING! You won't be Mitch slapped, he will knock you out. By the way, you have the best reactions!!! Have a great day/night and keep the awesome reactions coming!!
I love love love your reactions. You share your knowledge in a way that is easy to follow and understand and I really appreciate that. I always learn something and this time was no exception. But... you have GOT to go back and watch that again while keeping your eyes open all the way thru! In addition to being ear candy, the video and shenanigans are hilarious (and you missed some of it, which is sad for you). I promised to go back and re"watch" with my eyes closed. Love you. Keep 'em coming.
Another terrific, fun, educational reaction. Thank you so much. You bring great energy! I think I mentioned (and some others did too) Not Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up….Adam Rupp is AMAZING on it. Thanks again.
Just found your channel today and I must say I'm so impressed by your music technicality and theory analysis. Plus... you just are having fun enjoying the spirit of the music!! this is a unique combination!
I love this video. It’s now my favorite of theirs and your analysis is so damn good! I was laughing throughout but the music and the beatboxing and those harmonies are amazing. Loved Tim kissing Rob’s boo boo. Too funny. Love your reaction Jarvis. They have a new one they dropped What’s Left of my Heart that Tim wrote. A really good song. 🥰😍
Awesome job reviewing this musically! I would get so distracted by the humor in the video that it was difficult to stay focused on what was going on with the vocals!
Congratulations! You are one of the only reactors to not get distracted by the LARPing. It took me a couple viewings to hear the wonderful vocals . Very informative analysis.
Wooohooo. You should do Austin and Rob do Nessun Dorma. You will not look or hear Rob the same way again lol

Austin and Rob released a new video, Two COUNTRY singers try singing OPERA. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
100 degree heat in a Nashville, TN public park
Can’t get any more real than that!!!!

Love your Home Free reactions! You should react to Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist singing "Nessun Dorma". Yes, OPERA!
I've watched dozens of reactors to this one especially. Hats off to you for being the only one who was able to completely focus on the music the first time through.

As a performer and a teacher of music I love the way you make the technical aspects of music theory accessible to non-music...theorists.....lol
Yes- he explains things so well to those of us who love music but may not have a PhD in Theory like a certain reactor!
Thanks for pointing out so many details other reactors miss!

I really like your reactions. They go deeper than other reactions.
I adore your reactions! Especially, when its Home Free! You NAIL it, every time! "They gave it that mmmm" perfect analysis!!! 😉❤️
