For example, the second most tapped hero for colorless is none other than worthless Maria, a demote healer with no fodder and refine improvement. They should've used the same method as CYL instead.

They seriously need to increase the SI cap. Even if this Edelgard wins AHR and breaks the round 1 curse. I won't be able to fodder her for Armored Blaze and ATK/DEF Prime 4 at the same time because there is no character so far with a tier 3 version of that skill.
I think that Fomortiis wining AHR is what caused the power spike in nuking last year. I dont want that to happen again but in reverse, so im voting for byleth

Really hoping for Ninja Sanaki. She's the best nuke in the game, she's rare (duo/seasonal), she has great fodder, and she is a huge help to new players.

I get why you didn't recommend Kvasir and Gullveig cuz they're defensive mythics, but oh man, you can't ignore their amazing fodder, especially Gullveig. Regardless I do like these choices, historically the winter banner never does well in AHR(mainly because of the "free" spark), but 3H lords are 3H lords so maybe this year will be different.
I don't mind too much who we get, they're typically always pretty good units. What I do really want is good colour sharing though - its an amazing opportunity if we can get e.g. all blue units. (Especially if they're all duo/legendary mythics)
There's going to be another hero picks for AHR 2024. There's a chance that there's going to be this Month's Mythic Hero, another Ninja Hero, an Engage character (Legendary Alear), another Edelgard alt, and a Book 7 villain.
I think I'll be voting for L!Alear. She's an amazing tank, has incredible fodder and the dmg piercing support is super strong as well. Like if you don't want to use her as a tank or for her fodder, you can just pair her up with your favorite unit and give them dmg piercing. Only downside I can think of is that L!Camilla offers similiar (and arguably better) support than Alear but I like Alears fodder a lot more.

I think Rearmed Lucina or a! Peonny are now more compelling if they appear in the same banner as W! Dimitri. we can inherit a lot of skills when it comes to flyers or melee skills such as no quarters, guidance, S! guidance, Aerial Maneuvers, etc. they are amazing support units as well.
Y'know, I feel like R!Ophelia is an underrated choice since thanks to having beein in the last AHR, a lot of us have a few copies of her and a few valuable skills cloned on her, so every additional copy of her means more copies of all those skills, which is like the best part of getting Rearmed merges. Tho if you're willing to sacrifice 1 or 2 Ophelias you can get some of her most valuable cloned skills onto another rearmed so it's not that huge of a loss.
I want a!peony or triandra to win because they have great support and fodder. I don't want everyone having some crazy nuke like sanaki because realistically itl force them to make tanks crazy strong and more powercreep will happen
My Top 4 I think is reasonable for winning. WEdelgard, WDuoByleth, LCamilla, and then whatever Mythic/Legendary we get at the end of this month if they are votable LMAO. Yunaka, Elincia, and NIgrene would all be great too though

honestly, I am surprised w/No hedir, no kvsair or even triandra (who i think totally deserves a shot in the red pool discussion). not to mention nukes and tanks come and go - support lasts forever, especially when yours is a dancer who provides damage out of combat support. I don't really agree with your assessment. this is the type of banner they SHOULD (providing a colour share obviously), because then you already have a +10, and then you just need the fodder, vs. going for these units on multiple banners on TOP of trying to get fodder. (which is what happened with me and Ophelia. the reason why i bothered getting certain skills copied was because i had her from AHR. if I hadn't i wasn't going to waste my time hunting copies for her. and then having to also get the fodder. for less spenders/f2p etc, this is a great opportunity to have a fodder factory set up - and there isn't a rush to insta +10 them either.
I simultaneously really hope that Camilla wins and really hope that she doesn't make it to the top 8 If she wins, IS will probably make a load of counters to her, but I'd absolutely hate for everyone to have her as she's the single most BS unit IS has ever released imo

My ideal would be all blue with W!Edelgard, Veyle, R!Plumeria, and NY!Seiðr. I wouldn't mind green either if it included Altina and Camilla.
